I loved this game for a while but its so infested with rats and cheaters now that its only playable in solo runs half the time. Developers don't listen to the fan base begging for PVE only modes and keep catering to the competitive and streamer gamers instead of the casual gamers that are the majority of their player base. These rats don't even loot or hunt Arc they just hunt other players and cheese the system to get into more friendly lobbies to exploit for easy loot. Almost no one goes after the bosses any more because you get shot in the back the instant you engage with the boss battle or right after you kill a big arc and are low on resources the griefers rush in to gun you down. And if you defend yourself you get stuck in more and more aggressive lobbies so the game rewards being a PoS and punishes you for playing how the developers said they intended the game which was PvE with some PvP elements.
If you get anywhere near PVP lobbies, be prepared to die instantly to cheaters shooting through terrain and walls. Whatever attempts to cut down on cheaters is obviously a failure as is their update schedule.
ARC Raiders desperately needs a proper dedicated PvE mode with NO PvP interruptions. Give us a friendly PvE-only lobby where players can focus on fighting ARC machines, exploring the maps, completing objectives, collecting resources, farming loot, testing weapons, and enjoying the world without constantly worrying about another player hiding somewhere waiting to shoot them in the back. A dedicated PvE mode would not have to replace PvP. Keep the existing PvP extraction experience for players who enjoy that style of gameplay, but give PvE-focused players a legitimate alternative. There are many players who genuinely enjoy the PvE side of ARC Raiders—the robots, Queens, exploration, looting, missions, builds, and progression—but don't enjoy being forced into PvP encounters every time they enter a match.
Honestly, this game had so much potential, but the devs completely ruined it. The matchmaking is completely broken. If you're a casual player just trying to jump in, have fun, and loot, forget about it. The game uses an absolute trash aggression matchmaking system that is supposed to separate players, but instead, it just throws you into lobbies where sweatlords and toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill you on sight for no reason at all. You can be running around totally friendly with your gun away, and people will still blast you in the back just to ruin your game. What makes it worse is that the devs literally killed their own game by forcing it to be PvPvE. The community has been begging for a dedicated PvE or passive option for ages. If Embark actually listened and put in a pure PvE mode, this game would still be thriving. Instead, they cater to toxic players and campers who wait until you have high-value loot just to wipe you out. It’s not fun, it’s just frustrating. Save your time and money until the devs actually realize they alienated the biggest part of their player base.
Спасибо разработчикам, за то что убили игру, фиксить читеров? Нет, давай их будем плодить! Наигрался и ушел, было последней каплей! Может в дальнейшем вернусь, если пофиксят читеров!
THE MESSAGE
Great game that got ruined by a cheating problem...
When this game first came it out, it had a grip on me like no other game. It has been nothing but disappointing since. Embark had the gaming community at the palm of its hands and fumbled and fumbled and fumbled. With a severe lack of content only having one new map in almost a year and no meaningful new game modes, this was possibly the most disappointing game I have ever put so much time into.

This game is just a 40 dollar tech test with microtransactions
