ARC Raiders

This game had a lot of promise, and may one day be great. The devs have allowed it to become rampant with cheaters, and in their haste to add an anti cheat have turned their game into a crash fest. Only purchase if you enjoy freezing on loading screens or crashing during gun fights.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get crappy tm8s you die to a cheater every game or rats, not a 4th party more like a 5th party and there cheating, this game needs to be deleted off steam! EMBARK U SUCK you lazy peace of scumms!

Dead game, no seasonal reset. Casual game.

I bought this game during the winter, but my laptop couldn't handle it at the time, so I had to refund it. But I was so hooked that I ended up buying it again at full price later on and kept playing, even with the low FPS. Now, I barely touch the game because of the lack of content (the only new content I see is skins (┬┬﹏┬┬)). Still, I’d say the game was worth it in the first place though.

This review would have been glowing many hours ago, especially during the open beta through to the first 4 weeks of the game being live. Now unfortunately I would not recommend it to anyone due to the rampant cheating. I have never experienced anything like it in my 27 plus years of gaming.

Recommended for PvPers ONLY. I've played the game over 300 hours since it launched. It's a good game. Other people suck, though. And sometimes they will make it NOT a good game, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. You can spend 25 minutes fighting a difficult mission and finally succeed and then during exfil some child sitting with their 3rd person cam scoping you out while you cannot see them just pops out and takes you out in an instant while looking the other way. Cool? It's a shame the devs ditched the initial purely PvE design for the game and went full PvP. There are so many ways around forcing the PvP to always be present. PvP maps. PvP zones. Consensual PvP. Why not just let people chose pvp or pve? Why the forced mixed lobbies? I assume they're worried not enough people will play PvP mode and the PvPers will leave the game? I further assume it came down to a money decision. PvP must sell better. The core game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great. The AI enemies are good. Fun to fight, extremely difficult at times. The PvP is just not necessary. The Gameplay, fighting, the theme, art, weapons, items, etc. -> All good. It really just hinges on whether you love PvP or not, because the PvE aspect is completely unpredictable, so you never know. If you are trying to figure out if you (a PvE preference player) should try this game? Unfortunately, I have to say you're better off with Helldivers. Skip this if you want a PvPvE experience that limits or puts boundaries on the PvP. Be warned, this game does force you into PvP, it is not optional. Good Luck. Have fun. Don't Die.
