*actually neutral* Steam really needs to add a neutral option. This game has a cool central mechanic, and I like the aesthetics, but the execution isn't very interesting. You think of something like Portal, with a well thought out central gameplay mechanic, that starts simple and gets increasingly complex (while remaining intuitive), this isn't that. But like I said it's a solid basis for perhaps a longer experience with better thought out puzzles. There are hints of a story and world beyond the basic gameplay too that I would like to see explored. Good stuff for a first game though! Also to the developer, not sure why you're getting some bizarre, outsize criticisms laced with personal attacks. As an aspiring indie dev myself it's disheartening to see. Like I said though you have a solid foundation for potentially a great game, keep going! Edit: I forgot my actual (constructive) criticisms lol. Here they go: -The auto-rotating crosshair is highly annoying - make it only rotate while holding a button. -The jumping needs to be refined so that you can jump while moving. It's extremely annoying and frustrating to have to stop completely to jump, in a platformer. Other than that stuff, solid mechanics.

Çığır açan Bridge Gun özelliğine sahip olduğunu söylüyor. deneyin siz karar verin.
Cool game that only lasts about 10 minutes. Liked the aesthetics a lot. Hopefully there will be a full game version soon.
Anti-Jump-Man 10/10
нулевая сложность, полтора уровня и отсутствие сюжета. это даже игрой не назвать, просто механику прикольную показали
Anti-Jump-Man is a 2D retro pixel puzzle platformer that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. The game features basic single screen platforming (ho hum) with a somewhat original "Bridge Gun" gimmick that lets you place your own platforms on the level to solve the various puzzles and get through each level. The visuals here are particularly bad even for a GameMaker Studio game (some of the worst looking and worst playing games on Steam). The developers eschewed even trying to look retro and picked a jarring neon "Matrix" theme with Japanese characters in the background for no apparent reason. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs, although in this case the game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises like pixel art and using off the shelf game templates and construction kits.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
The developer simply wants to confuse reviewers by claiming they never used GameMaker Studio, which is a video game construction kit, and then also that they did use GameMaker Studio, which is a video game construction kit. I already mentioned the developer used a construction kit to make the game. The developer mentions they didn't use a proper software development team and made the game on their own. Developing software without sufficient resources and budget is a lot like driving a car using only your feet. It can be done... and it usually ends in disaster. The developer lists off a bunch of retro pixel crap that was also stamped out using video game construction kits in a somewhat sad attempt to liken the train wreck that is Anti-Jump-Man with other, slightly more successful retro pixel garbage. I've written reviews for Hotline Miami, Hyper Light Drifter and for Undertale and I describe in some detail the deep flaws these games have and why they are in some ways insulting to gamers. All the developer has managed to do here is point out, just like I already have, that GameMaker Studio is a terrible video game construction kit and invariably results in garbage products. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, and Anti Jump Man stands as a testament to that ancient truth. Nothing in the developers response changes the facts of my review, so it stands unaltered.
La verdad me dejo hipnotizado este juego de mierda, lo recomiendo si estas aburrido y quieres drogarte un rato sin ningun tipo de drogas. RECOMENDADO
