Ant Farm Simulator

Currently not worth the dollar, and has a LONG way to go. The screenshots and the splash screen make it look like you're getting a 3D, high resolution, ant farm sim, that you can zoom in on, and explore. What you get it is a lazy port of an idle phone game, with no other display options, no zoom capabilities, and an almost painful to look at UI. I booted up the game went to the first level, and found a fully formed colony. Anyone who has ever had an ant farm knows that the most satisfying part of the experience is getting a colony, and watching them slowly explore, grow, and expand into the space. Whether that is a horizontal terrarium like the one featured, or a vertical one. Bypassing that step means we're thrown into the process at the end and don't have that connection. It's like going to play the tutorial of a city building game and they've already built the city for you. Things I would like to see. Get rid of the clicking, and UI menu's completely, the sleek "metal edged" style doesn't match this game at all. Have more emphasis on which type and species of ants you're starting with. Have it truly be a 3D sandbox where you can tag/follow specific ants, give them names, watch them develop, and see some stats, as in what task they're performing or what role in the colony they're currently assigned to. There is no time maniupulation mechanic, would be nice to have an accelerated and a real-time option. I bought this game because I thought it would be something interesting to have running in the background, as sort of a smart desktop wallpaper. You've got a long way to go, I'll let you keep my dollar because that's on me, use it to make a better game.

This is a port of a free phone game. No game play, or even settings, just clicking the 3 available buttons. The game doesn't have anything that the description says, other than a food button and clean button.

Terrible. This is a straight forward port. Some of the improvements would be simple, for example let us click buttons, and see all the options at the same time. Flicking a toggle only works if you're actually using a phone. Having saved slots so I can return to a colony easily. Having statistics on what is happening in the ants nest. It even has a pop up telling you that it continues even if your phone is off. I'm not on a phone, I'm on a PC.

Ощущение будто игра сделана на курсовухе в колледже, в селе Пупкино, куда до сих пор не провели интернет и люди живут в своём племени, оторванные от реальности, в 90-ых, открывая собственную игровую индустрию. А теперь немного об игре. Кликать до посинения на молнию - это весь геймплей. Половину времени ты будешь вспоминать в какую сторону прокрутить одну из трёх кнопок, ведь места на экране не хватает, контент лезет со всех щелей. Сарказм. 20% того самого экрана занято часами, на которые ты должен постоянно смотреть до тех пор пока у тебя не поедет кукуха, ведь при сворачивании игра ставится на паузу, а то, что творится на экране ты выучишь через 5 минут. Блевотина даже не может растянуться на весь экран, улыбочка. В начале хочется посмотреть чё муравьи сделают с большими насекомыми, но ты этого не увидишь, т.к. после сворачивания у тебя сбросится анимация и останется только корм. Личинки муравьёв тоже сбрасываются и ты заново должен ждать пока эти коконы родит королева, а работяги приторанят их в точку Х, где они начнут вылупляться. Да-да в афк игру нельзя играть афк, вы всё правильно поняли. Физики вообще нет, муравьи бегают насквозь, хах, 2024 год кста:), с Новым годом! АИ муравьёв просто смешной, бегают по одному маршруту, кучкуются в одном и том же месте, без какого-либо разнообразия, абсолютно не интересно наблюдать за усатыми. Поедание корма разрабы тоже поленились сделать, вам предлагают поглядеть на 2 картинки, ещё и выбор состоит из 4 видов, ВАУ, удивили. В игре можно сменить обои фермы и муравьёв, но когда это делаешь хочется выдавить себе глаза, т.к. цветовая гамма испепеляет твои глазные яблоки моментально. Тошнит уже после 10 минут игры, если ты не пьян. Трезвым в принципе вас и хватит минут на 10, потом вы просто удалите этот мусор. Я как мазахист, ради интереса, нафармил 1000 муравьёв, чтобы посмотреть изменения следующего уровня, после этого игра предложила мне НИЧЕГО. В целом ожидаемо. ИТОГ: Игра полнейший шлак, неспособная ничего вам предложить. Бесплатные аналоги на мобилку в 10 интереснее и разнообразнее. Никаких интересных механик в ней нет, игра неконкурентоспособна. Не позорьтесь, удалите эту игру со стима.

Cool idle Game - Achievements would be cool!

This is a free game on the Play Store. Also, this is a mobile game, even with a mobile scaled UI. I do not recommend buying this game due to the lack of updates, features & it already being a free game on mobile. I refunded this game.

蟻好きには良いゲームだと思います。 このゲームは、シュミレーションゲームではなく、趣味レーションゲームです。 ゲーム性を求めるより、内容を見るととても面白いです。 問題点として、他のプレイヤーの方も仰っていた通り、日本語対応がされていません。 ですが、そもそも言語がプレイには関わって来ず、図で表されている為特に問題はありません。 中に出てくるものも、RESETくらいなものだと思います。 おススメしたい理由としては、蟻の生態の特徴を捉えていることにあります。 内容に出てくる蟻は、おそらくクロナガアリ系統の蟻だと思います。 まず、凄いと思った点は、食性です。 クロナガアリ系統の蟻の特徴である種を食べる事、また、幼虫の成長に必要なタンパク元としてハエや虫の幼虫を食べるということがしっかりと再現されています。 次に、幼虫の成長過程です。 このゲームでは、女王蟻付近で卵～初期の幼虫期を過ごし、後期の幼虫になると近くの別の部屋に移され、蛹となり羽化します。実際の蟻の羽化までの課程がよく再現されているなと感じました。 更に！！！！！ 羽化したての成虫の色素が薄い状態から、色素が安定し形がしっかりとして来るまで動かない状態までもが表現されています。 個人的には、女王蟻の周りにワーカーが集まっていないなと思ったのですが、幼虫を見せる為の仕様なのではないかと勝手に納得しています。 かなり酷評を受けているようですが、120円という値段の割には、リアルな蟻の生態に近いゲーム再現が行われており、 実際に蟻を飼ったことがある人や、蟻が好きな人であれば、良く出来ているなと感じながら楽しむことが出来ると思います。 いずれにしても早期アクセスのゲームですから、これからの更新を期待しつつやってみるのは良いかもしれません。 個人的には、価格の面も踏まえ、是非体験してみてほしいゲームです。
