Another road

not nice

This game is pretty fun for the price! But only if you have someone to play with... I happened to come across a stranger and he kept threatening to say the word over text to speech and my mum was listening to my pc and she got really angry and she took my pc away for an hour but other than that the game was fun! I'd give another road I one half carrot out of I one half uneasy face..

It's like a **** if you play it alone! There's no save button so you should play again when you failed. I have to fight against 3 men. I don't think anyone can pass the game. Worse physical engine, worse game, but a good idea. I won't play it unless you repair bugs. DON'T BUY it if you can't find a friend who wants to buy it/has it! 要是找不到人跟你一起玩 千万别买 谁送的我这游戏啊，离谱死了....浪费了我俩小时。开挂都打不过去的敌人真的没意思啊...

unplayable, physics are wack, and thats a problem in a physics based game. bad.

music slaps but the game dont

Its a two dollar game with probably enough content to justify its price. Unfortunately, the game is obviously unfinished. The controls and options are poorly explained. The physics have weird bugs and interactions, but the content and idea is solid. Me and a buddy were able to get coop working through the steam servers with no issues and minimal lag. The music is entertaining at first but quickly becomes dull and repetitive. 'F1' brings up the controls but has little explanation as too what 'Catapult' means and the controls for the cart are unlisted. it took some playing around but 'Q' moves the cart speed backwards and 'E' moves it forward. The physics are not great. The speed of the cart should be added to the arrows when you fire them, this would make the arrows more entertaining to fire instead of them falling out of the bow like dead birds. Some minor slopes are too steep for your character to climb and they will slide down requiring you to jump up them. Holding the box and jumping around will also cause strange interactions; After holding the box for a long time, the box had stored momentum and was accelerating me backwards. The box got stuck underneath the landing platform at the first town and were unable to pick it back up, but it didn't seem like we needed it. All in all, Another Road could use some more time in production. But i am still giving it a positive review. This is obviously made by a newer Russian game developer, its coop up to 4 players and its got a strange 2D western Death Stranding kinda feel. If the dev updates a few things and fixes some bugs i could see this becoming a gem in the rough. It costs less than a Four-Loko which would probably make the game more entertaining though its up to you which you prefer.
