Anno 117 is the most mixed game I’ve played this year. The game itself has all the good qualities of Anno, but it also has the worst Ubisoft mark ever. I experienced this most when I played the “open” free mode of the game. I thoroughly enjoyed the building aspects and every great detail of it. The logistics of an Anno game are also here, and I must admit it is very enjoyable to see how a colony grows. That being said, I can’t overlook the way they treat our time with the game. Most of the endgame feels like slop. And the worst thing about this game is its DLC. I can endure “bad DLCs”; most of the time I would even buy them, even if it’s only for the slightest content that is actually good in them. What I can’t understand about the Anno 117 DLC is that it adds nothing to this game. Anno 1800 had a zoo for a DLC, and now I’m looking at Obsidian as a 10‑dollar DLC? What can I even say about this — it’s uninspired and lazy, to say the least. I hope, for the life of this game, that the Egypt DLC is worth it. I would even buy it for 30 dollars if there is just slightly more content for this game. Until then, this has to be one of the worst fumbles again.
Beautiful Roman setting, relaxing atmosphere, and satisfying city-building. The game takes some time to learn, and the beginning can feel a little slow, but after a few hours it becomes much more engaging. So far, I’m enjoying it and would recommend it to fans of strategy and management games.
Man besiedelt letztlich also immer die genau gleichen Inseln. Das killt die Replayability.

It's DEI and AI slop. You have to be online regardless of single player mode Huge huge bugs Soulless reskin, Ended up asking for a refund because the DEI was so on the nose.
