Yes, I recommend this game.
Wonderful mix of Metroidvania and puzzle platforming, with gorgeous art and lot of post end-game content.
Animal Well is a delightfully atmospheric and clever metroidvania, foregoing the typical action gameplay found in the genre in favor of a puzzle focus. This works really well due to the unique design of its powerups and the interactions they have with the world, though there are 2 optional powerups that felt like huge duds as they didn't do anything beyond break specific tiles that are very hard to distinguish as different from the rest of the terrain. Besides that though, I think this is one of the best metroidvanias out there.
