It's nice, but if you're expecting this to be a stellar pool game, it's not. It works just fine, in a very standard kind of way. Standard is by no means bad, but it is worth pointing out. I personally needed a pool game, and something standard was right up my ally, so this works for me. I welcome things that are small and light that I can jump into without thinking too hard about it, and this is basically the pool version of that. There are way better pool games out there with much better graphics and technical detail, but obviously, this isn't looking to overshadow any of those. But standard as this is, everything works just fine, no weird glitches or issues to report on. If you want a top down pool game, nothing fancy, this is a great option.
As a lewd game, the scenes themselves are fantastic. Animated really well, with slider adjustments and Interactives. Everything is very smooth and gives you a good level of control during a scene, which is greatly appreciated. Interactives are usually limited to around 2 items per scene (maybe 3 in some cases but I forget).
There's also a bit of voice acting, and I mean like a bit. Pretty much only when you first click on a girl to play pool with, they say a little something. The scenes that do contain dialogue are all text based beyond that.
The progression is a suffering point in this game. To unlock scenes with each girl, you have to win against them a specified number of times. That's it. Just the same rinse and repeat formula for each girl of "win X number of times to unlock new scene." No challenges to keep things interesting, no increased difficulty. Just keep playing until you have them all. Some of the girls have fairly high win numbers too, which could make it feel like a slog just to unlock a scene. I've been taking bites out of this game little by little, playing very casually, just to avoid burnout. When I'm in the mood for some pool, I look forward to booting this up, but I do feel the tedium that the lack of challenge or gameplay variety brings.
Overall, not a horrid game at all. I do like it, but I can't help but feel like this had the potential to be more than a white bread standard pool game. I'm basically making that determination based on the production value of the art and animation, which might be a mistake. But yeah, the scenes are great, which is likely why anyone is really buying this. Thumbs up. I do enjoy it.
