If you enjoy zero escape, you should probably play this game right now. If you don't like zero escape, well, they're actually not all that similar despite appearances so you should still play this game. Very cool sci-fi world, with strong characters, the protagonist in particular who has monologue sections that will probably be stuck in my head for a while. clever implementation of "gameplay" with story, strong intrigue and mystery. For being a part 1 of a multi-part series that's as short as it is it does a hell of a lot and is worth seeing for yourself. Part 2 when

its like zero escape, almost to the point you can call it a clone, but there is something unique about this that I will keep reading for not too far in, but at a certain point I've been keeping the game open just for the background tunes/ambience, good stuff
I found this game very enjoyable even though it is just dialogue with no choices. The story is great and I really liked that sometimes you had to check the log. Would recommend as it is free.
Such Interesting story. Definitely give it a try
Amicalement, Le pasteur .
Really well written and unique visual novel. When it comes to this kind of story, it can often be kind of a challenge to not be overshadowed by the influence of bigger titles like 999 or Danganronpa or whatever. Anamnesia does go in its own direction though, and ended up being fairly emotionally resonant in the direction it did decide to go down. Despite lacking gameplay, the unique little meta twist that Anamnesia has (of which I will not elaborate on) was very interesting, and integrated very well into the story. Once I realized what was going on I found myself ultimately playing into the metanarrative without even realizing. I think that there's more there to be found, even, although I'm not sure exactly how or what I'm missing. I'm strongly looking forward to more parts, although I don't feel as part 1 is an incomplete or lacking experience -- I think that even on its own it stands as something worth experiencing.
If you like Visual Novels, chances are you will love Anamnesia. It´s a fairly short read, I finished it in a bit over 6 hours, and it´s very aware about the Visual Novels that came before. It is definetly inspired by the Zero Escape series but it doesn´t feel derrivative. Instead of just copying concepts from popula Visual Novels, Anamnesia incorporates VN tropes and settings into an original narrative. characters feel real and grounded; a strong shift from the more melodramatic characters of Danganronpa or Zero Escape. Anamnesia doesn´t have gameplay and not really multiple choices either. It´s main point of interactivity is playing with one of the core concepts of VIsual Novels: The Log. I honestly could yap about this game way longer and why I like it. But I wouldn´t want to give too much away and it´s LITEALLY FREE. Go play it and have fun!
A really well written Visual Novel. ^~^ Just give it a try, it's free after all!
It's a really good visual novel. I'd be willing to pay for part 2 or a digital artbook/soundtrack. The story rewards you for paying attention. The characters have both enough flaws to be interesting and enough depth to be likable when you get to know them more.
