More stress inducing than scary. However still a very enjoyable game.

Alien: Isolation 2 is doomed to fail. There is no way the devs will be able to match this game's level of quality and performance, especially using UE5-slop engine. Unless they watch Threat Interactive's tutorial on how to optimize games or something... Anyway, this game is amazing. On all levels and aspects. Q: Would I recommend? A: Absolutely! [+] 1) Great performance/optimization No stutters, no upscaling or frame generation bullpoop, the game just runs 200+ FPS on native 4K without any problem on a high-end PC. 2) Faithful replication of the original style 3) Phenomenal lighting 4) Immersive atmosphere 5) Terrifying sounds/ambience 6) Engaging/immersive in-game interaction 7) Tension-making animations 8) Amazing design and style 9) Good story and characters 10) Clean UI and controls 11) Immersive gameplay 12) A lot of craftable gadgets that are actually useful [-] 1) No in-game FPS limiter 2) Some minor texture flickering 3) No main character shadow 4) Early flamethrower The flamethrower is used too early in the game, making all other craftable gadgets almost useless... 5) Some occasional sound bugs I have a suspicion it's only limited to playing the game on Linux. Conclusion: 10/10

Over 10 years later, this game is still one of the best survival horror game ever made. If you haven't already, buy it and enjoy it for years to come.
