Game is broken on modern PCs. 240 hz is not possible with vsync. It will turn the game into bullet mode. Mouse has issues with very slow movements. Brightness adjustment on an OLED screen is a joke. Can't believe they haven't adressed any of these uses for the past years.

Point blank, this game was amazing, a 10/10. Personally, I feel like they did a fantastic job with this game. They stuck with the lore and didn’t try to rewrite the entire preexisting fandom like most AAA games. Throughout the entire game, they are able to keep the entire horror/uneasy atmosphere going. The jump scares are genuine, with most of them, if not all, being unpredictable. Most of the levels allow you to tackle them with multiple different playstyles or angles, whether you want to sneak your way through, fight, or use the ungodly amount of tools the game offers. It's obvious the developers poured their hearts into every crack and crevice of this game. To me, I feel like it perfectly encapsulates every aspect an Alien game should. It has horror, atmosphere, survival, exploration, and a pretty good story. And for some extra points: they designed Sevastopol perfectly; it feels like this map was pulled directly out of the original movie; hell, it fits in the Alien universe better than some of the recent Alien movies. I think the only problem some people have with this game is the fact that you can’t kill the alien. I don’t really agree with this argument, because the game is based on the original 1979 Alien movie with small ties to the Alien series, where you are forced to navigate around the alien to complete objectives, not blast your way through Sevastopol. (Which you can do, but it's not recommended for non-vets) If you're looking for something more like Aliens, I wouldn’t suggest you try Fireteam Elite instead, as that's more of a wave-based alien shooter. Overall, I loved every second of this game, and it's nice to receive a game faithful to the original material in a time of horrible adaptations. On a quick note for those worried about graphics, I believe it holds up really well for a 2014 game; even so, there are plenty of easy to install graphic mods.

2026年7月18号 我写下这些心得体会: 小时候就有在长视频平台看到过关于这个游戏的实况,是我接触到的第一款复古科幻恐怖题材游戏。 电影是在我了解游戏之后才补的,电影也很不错,在1979年这个时间点来说,这样的世界观的完成度已经 很成熟了,整个系列我最喜欢的是第二部,更像是动作片,只能说,卡梅隆的确是一位大师。 和看别人玩不一样,在我今年得知要出异形隔离第二部的时候,我才想起这个被我放在库里一直没用玩过的 佳作。 我特别喜欢探索剧情的过程,当我一次一次验证自己的想法的时候,那种获得感让我觉得很棒,我玩游戏时 常在房间里自言自语,会把对话全部读出来,好像是读课文一样,总觉得应该再认真对待一些。 我应该会很期待后续的剧情,不知道会不会还有瑞普利登场。 除了上述那些,游玩体验是一流的,我可以体会到异形的那种刺激,在每一次匍匐前进中不断说服自己往前 走。 那种极致的压抑和恐怖氛围是我玩其他恐怖游戏所没有的,但是又让我找回了那个玩恐怖游戏的初衷。 然而现在的我是一位学习计算机的学生,当我再玩这个游戏的时候,我会去想它去拆解和查看异形的运作逻 辑,因为我也希望可以在未来参与到这个行业,想做出属于自己的游戏,所以这对我来说是无异于是很棒的 一件事。 但是这不同于小时候那种纯粹的快乐,以前的我什么都做不了,现在的我或许有能力去学习做一些为自己创 造意义的事情,虽然那种快乐变了,但是我想,最后的感受还是一样的,让我体会到了游戏的真正作为第九 艺术的一环所带来的魅力 -- 在一个精密运转的代码包装下送给所有玩家的礼物。
