Aftercharge is a fantastic game. I love the asymmetry, and the frantic panic of the multiplayer matches. Unfortunately it's completely abandoned by players. As such this review is less a recommendation, and more a tribute to what could have been. I was lucky enough to get in early, and I'm so glad I did. The little time I got to spend with this game was fun and promising. I only wish it could have turned out differently. So long, Aftercharge. I'll miss you.
I'm horrible at this game but the gameplay loop is really solid

It Died But It was still a good game <3
I'm going through my entire library and putting a minimum of an hour into each game and then "reviewing" them, here is mine for "Aftercharge": Fun game, little to no players and bots kick my butt when I'm a bot.
I played this *way* back in 2019 when there was a free weekend, and I must say this is incredibly enjoyable. It's a great concept that's executed well, this game is incredibly underrated. That fact is sad, considering how good this game is. Overall, buy the game. It's worth it.
