The game itself isn’t bad — but it’s definitely not worth $10. It used to be $2, but in 2024 the devs bumped it to $10 and started putting it on sale every other month. I have no respect for that kind of pricing trick. They released five games in 2021, did the same thing with all of them, and haven’t updated or released anything new since. It just feels like a money trap, which is a shame because this one actually has potential. Gameplay-wise, it’s a simple arcade drifting game with decent controls. There are issues though — for example, in some levels the camera stops before the end of the track, but there’s still a checkpoint you need to hit (Level 3 in particular). There’s no main menu, just a level select screen. The music is good, though I wish there were more tracks. If there were any reward for finishing levels — achievements, new cars, even a different smoke color — it’d help. But once you’ve learned the controls, there’s not much reason to keep going. If they ever revert the price back to $2 and add achievements, I’d reconsider. Until then, it’s not worth buying and I can’t support this kind of shady pricing. (Also note: almost all of the positive reviews were made before the price change.)
