Aces Under the Moonlight™

Concept is good, character design is interesting. I'll be honest I do not like 2D sidescrolling fighting game (ie Street Fighter). But this... this is different concept. What brought me here is random short video on Youtube with the Femboy Main character. Which is interesting design. I didn't really care about the other male one. It looks generic punk guy. The Femboy is nice. Though I do have some critics: - Design is too chaotic. I know it want to be art-sy, perhaps like Persona 5 or something with similar feels. But it is too chaotic and focus more on art than the clear design. It tooks me a while to understand what the button layout is (for both Keyboard and Gamepad). Which is a bad design choice. - It'd be better for later update or full build in the future to have more uniform artwork. The chibi is not the problem, I meant for the full body artwork. The CG for the character in gameplay is fine. What I meant is for the static artwork (loading screen, main menu). Though there are two things that grind my gears, but the concept is interesting. You should give this game a try. I'd love to see this game success and improvement in the future build. Also online multiplayer, does not matter if it's private server or peer to peer.

I heard about this game via a Twitter post of a character design that got my attention. Unfortunately, the very stylistic menus, UI, and navigation is messy and confusing. The two music tracks that I've only heard on this game are super jarring, and close to earrape. As far as gameplay goes, its trying to be a Lethal League type of game, but it should just be a fighting game in my opinion. I know its only one person developing this game, but he might need some volunteer work.

Take this early review with a grain of salt because its obvious this game is not finished yet. So far, the style of the game is pretty awesome! Very colorful and vibrant and from the one stage that we have set in the city, it looks like its gonna be great! However, the game is still very disappointing in its current state. It only has 3 characters, there's only like 3 moves and I cant decide if this game is supposed to be a fighting game, pong or a mix in-between. I love the femboy character, he looks hot, and the girl looks hot too, but thats all I can really say. This game should have been out on steam when there was more to say about it but as it is? Its not great. It IS free at the time of writing this, but still. Also damn how is this game already 7gb??? It only has 3 characters and a basic stage how????? I will still say that this is probably not my last review on this game, as the next time I will write one is when more characters, mechanics, and stages will be added. And thats gonna rock. But this needs more time in the oven, no doubt.

The menu is cultured, not the most content really, and of course obviously just needs more modes. BUT!!! I do see good potential here if it gets that love and care that this game needs. Also Charlie ♥

This is a fun game but needs more characters and multiplayer please this game is four years old
