This is one of my all time favorite games. I love the survival genre and Abiotic Factor applies unique and goofy twists to the genre. This is one of the few games i find my self coming back to replay even after I've beaten the game and gotten all the achievements. The combat, building, and exploration are all enjoyable. The developers still release content updates and listen to community feedback. I played this game back in early access and i was always looking forward to the next part of the facility.
God what an amazing game. Half-Life 1 but you play as the scientist trapped in Black Mesa. With SCP monsters. Match made in heaven. The economy is great (except ammo that is way too scarce). The enemy AI is way better than any survival game I've played. They actually run to cover and dodge non-hitscan weapons. So much variety in the different locations, with most of it being required or heavily incentivized. I played this completely solo, and honestly I don't see how anyone playing co op could find it enjoyable in a group as there is so much stuff to read and explore, could see 1 person knowing everything and another not knowing being fun, but I didn't have to look up anything except for ||kylie|| which is a secret thing anyway.
