If there was ever a perfect game, it would be Abiotic Factor.
Amazing survival game, great QOL features. Super smooth to play. Don't spoil yourself at all just jump in. Spooky for sure
One of the best games i've ever played. Can't wait for the DLC
hehehe black masa
This game is a jack of all trades, but a master of none, well except for exploration, story and level design. Let's start for the best things
THE STORY:
It's pretty good, the whole Half-Life-esque story is actually pretty good, it's what i would've expected of something that takes inspiration from said game. It really feels like you're playing as a scientist, even though you're the typical one man army it's great, I love the concept of exploring other universes and the way they have containment measures for these extraterrestrial beings, like the SCP foundation. It's actually really good stuff, it's well constructed.
THE EXPLORATION:
I absolutely love the way this game handles exploration, it's in the vein of a metroidvania but you don't really get frustrated if you can't open ceirtan doors the moment you see them, the feeling when you open door, activate an elevator or a blast door and discover that you find yourself right back in the office sector is an incredible feeling...
THE LEVEL DESIGN:
It's pretty good, it makes you feel like you are in that place, the underground is a really big place, every place is very well designed and also weird.

THE FINAL FIGHT:

Imma be honest, sorry for comparing it to half life again... but it is GOOD, completely better than the Nihilant fight, it's more intense, more tactical, longer, and in general very well put together, also we see the final boss before knowing it was gonna be one, that adds up to thinking what could be the final boss and all. in general it was a pretty well designed fight and i love that.

THE OTHER ASPECTS:
The survival part is not bad, it's not super great either, its decent, the necessities system is allright, eat from time to time, poop, drink and sleep, nothing bad, nothing good, i don't mind. The resource gathering is good, not much grinding playing singleplayer. The combat is allright, decent melee system and ranged combat with a pet system, it does not excel in any of those fields in my opinion, it works tho, surprisingly well, the weapons are cool and the pets are interesting, but there is not much to say about it, that's it, it's decent, even pretty good i'll say. In general, it's systems are on point and deliver in what they're supposed to deliver.
FINAL SCORE 8.7/10 can't wait for the dlc!!!
Didn’t take long to 100%, none of the achievements were extremely tedious, probably the best survival craft game I’ve ever played. 10/10
Absolutely fantastic game, Played 100+ hours with my fiancée from early access through to 1.0. What a special experience, its a great journey in every aspect. Fun to explore, interesting story to unveil through characters/logs and rewards creativity as you go from scrounging scraps to survive all the way to a sci-fi powerhouse hunting specific interdimensional creatures for resources that make bonkers sci-fi stuff. Absolutely nails what it sets out to do and will be a fond memory for years to come. Highly recommend this game to all who are curious and not played it yet!!
