I enjoyed this game for the first few minutes. However, I found that it became repetitive. The game is a great concept in theory; but the gameplay does not leave for many variations in how the game is played. The game seemed to consist of repeating the same missions over and over. This game seemed like it had a lot of potential; but I cannot say that I recommend it.
While reasonably fun, incredibly short...finished it in well less than an hour. Got it part of a pack so was Very cheap so not complaining. Was tossing up to recommend or not, I enjoyed it
Hey everyone and this is my review about the game! This is a Casual action game.
Interface/Menu/Settings
You can play the game with a xbox controller. There is a sound volume bar available. 5 Bars. There is a music volum bar available. 5 Bars. You can play in fullscreen mode or windowed mode. There is a help thing. Telling the game objective, Game controls and items. There is a tutorial level.
About the game.
You are playing as an alien ship thing. Each level you will get a new task on what you should do. Once every task has been completed you are able to go to the next level. Objectives are highlighted with an Orange background in the text dialogue. Whenever you are using the Beam and you do take damage. You instantly stop with the beam action and you will drop the item that you are currently holding. This could be troubling at times. You have 3 lives. Whenever you are dying the level will NOT reset. So you are able to keep playing and continue in your current task. The Beam could make an annoying sound. You have lives and a score point. Every 10k Points = 1 Extra Life. It's an easy pick-me-up game. There are NO UPGRADES available. Music is calm and has variation. Gameplay is decent. Graphics are 2D.
Other things.
I do recommend to play on the xbox controller. Controls are slightly better in my opinion. ------------------- I Give this game a 7/10
A Short-lived, Paint-like Extravaganza Abduction Action! Plus is a game that, despite its short length and simplistic objectives, manages to entertain for a brief period. Your primary tasks are to kidnap and kill humans, an unusual premise that’s paired with graphics reminiscent of something drawn in Microsoft Paint. This childlike aesthetic gives the game a certain quirky charm, though it's clear that the visual appeal is not its selling point. The game’s amusement value peaks quickly, providing about half an hour of fun before the repetitive nature of its mechanics sets in. You’ll find that once the novelty of its humor and gameplay wears off, there’s little else to keep you engaged. A surprising aspect of Abduction Action! Plus is its hilariously bad voice acting and storyline. The dialogue and plot are so poorly executed that they become comically entertaining, almost as if the developers intended this for humor. It’s a game that doesn’t take itself seriously, and neither should you. In terms of platform suitability, this game feels like it would be best enjoyed on a mobile device where quick, casual play sessions are more appropriate. Unfortunately, as it stands, Abduction Action! Plus is not worth purchasing at its regular price. If you happen to find it for a minimal cost, it might be worth a try for a few laughs. Otherwise, it's best to save your money for a more substantial gaming experience.
Great short and fun little game! I think the mechanics and difficulty fit very well as its not too hard to grasp but also a fair amount of challenge when dealing with certain mobs. The only improvement would be to add more levels to the story mode! 9/10
In this 2D side scrolling game you play as an alien in a spaceship fighting first farmers, jocks, police and then the military, each level being very slightly different and each having their own boss. One of the annoyances this game has is that instead of things being explained in keyboard terms, they use controller dialect, while it isn't that bad it did take me some time to figure out the proper controls, I should've paid more attention in the tutorial... I enjoyed playing the game, but sadly the game has very little content besides the five levels in campaign, which can be completed in under 20 minutes and Score Attack, an endless mode that is much harder than the story mode, getting 100k points for the achievement is exceedingly boring. I think once you beat all the bosses, the score goes up by 150 every few seconds, either that or something bugged. If this game goes on sale, I'd recommend getting it on 50% or higher.
