Note : 7/10

it was short and idk if that next update is ever going to come out at this point but it was pretty fun. i love the concept of making a more tactical FPS with doom-style sprites-in-a-3d-world graphics. some of the writing and art could be criticized, but for me it evokes a kind of early 2000's internet nostalgia. some of the levels feel a tad unfinished, but the core gameplay is pretty solid imo. kinda plays like goldeneye or the early rainbow six games, but with a fixed central crosshair.
I like this game it has some of the vibes from ION Fury and Doom and its FREE what else could I ask for
It's a free shooter with fun gunplay. Go play it!
its just PEAK, just so peak
Pretty decent free boomer shooter
Recommended, BUT personally not recommended. If you're looking for a short free boomer shooter to pass the time then this is the one, playtime takes around 2+ to 4 hours to complete depending on which difficulty you choose and how good you are with navigation, you can already encounter glitching enemies in the second map, and finding where to go in the Dubai level is a nightmare, it's an open area and you have to figure out which building to go in, grab a keycard then return to other building you just raided 15 mins ago to proceed and grab another keycard, it wouldn't be such a hassle if you didn't have to wait over 30 seconds for an elevator to go up and down in those buildings, and that if there's a vehicle in the city to drive around more faster like in the jungle maps it would have been better too, you can't look up and down 90 degrees so when the drones show up, you may just consider quitting and finding something else to play. This game has so many wasted potentials, since the playtime is short, characters lore dump in every cutscene or dialogues at the start of each mission, you can wait for them to finish talking or just go in gun blazing, the objectives will tell you what to do anyway, but those stuffs are always dragged out for a few minutes when you're already in combat which is annoying, sometimes the dialogues in cutscenes are oddly paced and you can barely finish reading even if you really want to know what is going on. The second one if the "guilt" level where it plays out like a horror segment in Cry of Fear, you go through the main character's mind by practicing parkour in a dark area with blood painted paths and floating grounds, which is a nice change of pace but it's never explored again through out the rest of the game, to be fair the entire game is about tracking down people who made some highly illegal strong drugs that make people go crazy and die, which the main character or anyone in the cast never comes into contact with. What makes me upset even more is the fact that there is a literally RPG in the game but it's only used for taking out a large number of enemies and specifically the helicopter in the last level, and if you want me to spoil the ending, it's just your average hero shooter winning at the end by killing the bad guys, everyone goes home, has a drink in some local bar and that's it, it's quite anti climatic but oh well the game is free. The gunplay is fine but friendly AIs are just there for show, you can control them by using commands, but the best they could do is just taking damage for you and making you feel not alone through out the missions, they can't tell you where to go next unless it's in dialogues, the pointers in compass is also useless in open areas (again the Dubai level is just frustrating). The other issues with this game are that grenades and RPG rounds, for whatever reason, have very limited range, you can't throw a grenade over a fence or some obstacles unless looking up high enough, same with the RPG. All and all there are a lot to nitpick on this game, but again it's free and short so just... If you really want to try it out that much then go for it, and probably never pick it up again, which is what I did, I only like the first few levels tbh.
