[h1]Gameplay[/h1] Drag and drop objects into the correct positions as you scour an image for clues and secrets. There are a total of twelve levels, with up to eight objectives each. Whenever a secret is uncovered, you'll unlock another image in the gallery. When [b]all[/b] secrets have been uncovered, you'll unlock an animated, lewd image! Though you can click the screen aimlessly, you may instead use the [i]magnifying glass;[/i] this tool will allow you to identify movable objects, and in some cases, their correct positions. If you get stuck, the "hint" button will practically tell you how win! [h1]Story[/h1] There is no overarching story. However, there are twelve textless comics that are unlocked through gameplay. Each comic features a female protagonist having sex (or [i]being raped[/i]) with a man, woman, or tentacles! [h1]Visuals[/h1] The titlescreen looks good -- I enjoyed the gratuitous panty shots! From "Album", you may review CGs. Unfortunately, static CGs cannot be fullscreened (and they are rendered in a variety of aspect ratios.) On the brighter side, the user-interface is hidden when viewing animated CGs (provided the adult patch is installed). From "Options", you may adjust audio, display and language preferences. [b]- The Goods -[/b] The base game contain twelve unlockable comics, each comprised of up to eight textless images. They serve one purpose; each story pedals a sex-scene (with or [b]without[/b] consent). One comic features lesbian romance, and two tentacles. If the adult patch is not installed, the adult images are blotted-out with ugly white blobs. A traveler's photo album - patch [DLC] This DLC uncensors the gallery and adds twelve animated, lewd CGs. The animations are decent, but the artwork isn't as refined as the comics'. Sometimes, I was able to spot awkward angles and movement. Each animation is based on the comics' climaxes, and they include variants for progression (and [i]climax![/i]) [h1]Verdict[/h1] What a deal! If you're a fan of hidden object games, [b]A traveler's photo album[/b] is a title suitable for a casual audience. I was able to complete the vast majority of the game without using any sort of "hints". If you don't want to spend too much time hunting for usable objects, you have the option to be [i]walked through[/i] each level. The overall game is attractive, and there are quite a number of lewd CGs to see. Given the adult content, this game is a [i]steal[/i] as a dollar buy. Not a fresh approach to the already over-saturated market of lower-budget lewd puzzle games, A Traveler’s Photo Album fails to deliver by bringing a sort of point & click type of puzzle, which does not require thinking and planning ahead. This game, like most mature, sexual-content related tagged games, heavily relies on its x-rated content to increase the amount of purchases of their product. Twelve puzzles, each with its own girl have to be solved. The player is left completely in the dark, where it mostly is unclear as to what is to be expected of a puzzle, with the controls being unclear. Combine this with the puzzles be rather hard, one quickly resorts to the hint option. There is a magnifying glass available, which can be used to spot objects which can be interacted with. A hint option is available as well. The text written hints however can be hard to deciper, this must be some awkward Google translation or so. After solving the puzzle, a tasteless lewd scene is unlocked, which can be accessed later through a gallery option. These scenes have different artstyles, showing they come from different artists and / or sources, a big mess. All of this is after installing the official, free x-rated patch. Music & sound effects are nothing fancy or special. Some casual low-fi music iterates in the background, and sound effects are free assets. Since there is only one background tune throughout the entire game, this gets boring very quick. Twelve achievements, one for each girl / puzzle have to be unlocked to achieve a perfect game. Nothing too complicated here, simply by playing all the levels, does the trick. Easily done in about an hour or less. The achievements should be the only reason to inflict the mental damage upon yourself by playing this game. In the future, I might be avoiding games from this developer. Maybe if I can pick them up very cheap, for the profile legal achievements only. Recommended for: - Fans / collectors of adult hentai games - Achievement hunters Cheers, SultanK
