About
A Sea of Ashen Tulips is a narrative adventure role-playing game in which players take on the role of a Eoin, a former mercenary attempting to navigate a peaceful life in the aftermath of war as the people make ends meet and forces of empire prepare to reignite conflict. Players will follow Eoin as he interacts with the people of northeastern Wyeland, helps them in their struggles, contends with his past, uncovers sinister conspiracies that threaten the recently acquired freedom the people fought tooth and nail for, and succeeds or fails by how much faith he places in the bonds he forges along the way.
Encounter the diverse array of people living throughout the nation of Wyeland and hear their stories of pain, joy, love, loss, and struggle against the encroaching Matregaelian forces. Forge bonds with interesting characters just as multifaceted as Eoin himself and discover and aid in their journeys of growth and grief.
Dive into a mystery at the heart of a land gripped in the pollution of colonialism. Follow leads and carry threads as you find who is trustworthy in a land where motivation is subject to the whims of the boots around the common person’s neck. Fight against impossible odds or circumvent them and work from the shadows.
You may not be able to change the world but you are in charge of the individual destinies laid out before you. Find out what kind of person Eoin was and shape what kind of person he will become as you control the way he responds to the people and situations throughout Wyeland.
Hand-drawn pixel art and gorgeously composed original music form the atmosphere for a land with infinite depth and wonder to encounter.
