A Plague Tale: Requiem impressed me most with its story, atmosphere and visuals. The story surrounding Amicia and Hugo is easily the strongest part of the game for me. Especially towards the end, it becomes incredibly emotional, and for me that more than makes up for some of the weaker aspects. Compared to the first game, I also found Requiem to feel more open. There are more opportunities to explore the environments, find alternative paths and interact with the world around you. At the same time, it is still a linear, story-driven game – and that's exactly what I expected. It's not an open-world game, nor does it need to be. The linear structure never bothered me because it allows the developers to tell the story in a focused way and carefully stage each part of the journey. The main weakness for me is that some gameplay elements can feel repetitive, especially when it comes to certain combat encounters and puzzle mechanics. There were definitely moments where I felt like I had already done something very similar before. Overall, though, the strengths clearly outweigh the weaknesses for me: fantastic atmosphere, beautiful environments, great characters and, most importantly, a story that will stay with me for a long time. If you're looking for an atmospheric, story-focused adventure and don't mind a linear structure, A Plague Tale: Requiem is a very memorable experience.
exellent jeux
One of my favorite games. Never expected this ending from a game like this, it hit me hard. I love the characters so much. Also Lucas needs God status.
Wooo quel voyage!
A Plague Tale: Requiem takes everything that made Innocence special and pushes it even further. The story is darker, heavier and even more emotional. Amicia and Hugo’s relationship is still the heart of the game, but this time the journey feels even more desperate, tragic and intense. Visually, the game is absolutely beautiful. The environments are larger, more detailed and often breathtaking, while the rat swarms are somehow even more terrifying than before. I also like how the gameplay feels more developed. There’s more freedom, more combat options and more ways to approach situations, but the game never loses its story-driven identity. What stayed with me most is the emotional weight. Requiem is not just about survival — it’s about love, fear, sacrifice, hope and how far someone is willing to go for the person they care about. If Innocence was a small masterpiece, Requiem is the bigger, darker and more painful continuation. Beautiful, brutal, emotional and unforgettable. Absolutely recommended.
