I'm getting so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ irritated by how limited Amicia's defense is. Like, she could obviously pick up an axe or a sword, but instead the developers gave her a knife that you can't even use multiple times. You have to pick one up, use it, and then you're left with nothing. I forgot how frustrating the mechanics of this game are. At the beginning of the game, I literally hated Amicia's attitude and personality. She's okay in the first one, but somehow I really don't like her in this one. Luca's voice doesn't even match what he looks like. Somehow, I'm just not really liking this game or its characters. Amicia is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unbearable. Imagine if Hugo had actually fully accepted the Macula and mastered it instead of constantly fighting against it. He could potentially have become something incredibly powerful—controlling the rats deliberately instead of allowing the Macula to gradually consume him. And that's especially frustrating because Innocence showed that Hugo was already getting better at controlling them. By the end, he wasn't just randomly causing rat activity; he could deliberately direct them. Then Requiem pulls him back into the struggle because the Macula had progressed further. Hugo dying in Requiem feels like it was all for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing. It means everything they did was for nothing. I honestly can't explain how frustrated I am with the story of Requiem. Throughout the entire game, I've been constantly filled with frustration and anger toward both Amicia and Hugo. Hugo is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brat and is always whining. I’m honestly leaning toward Hugo dying up until the part where their mother died. But then again, he was just a child who didn’t know any better and was put in an uncomfortable and unfortunate situation. The missions in the first game were more fun. This one feels like it's lacking something. It's so annoying how they keep trying to deceive themselves with this lie that everything is going to be okay when, in reality, it clearly isn't. I understand that they wanted to stay positive and hopeful about the future, but they should've also been realistic and logical at the same time. That's one of the most annoying parts for me because they just don't seem logical at all. Honestly, I don't know why, but somehow I'm just not loving this sequel. I liked and enjoyed the first one much more. The Count and Countess are both ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and they basically ruined everything, but they're such weak-ass antagonists compared to Vaudin, the antagonist from the first game. Honestly, what’s even the point of the Macula if it’s basically useless because you can’t properly fight it or find a cure? If they decide to make a sequel that directly continues after Requiem, I really hope they actually find a solution and give us a happy ending or at least a good ending. Otherwise, what’s the point of everything if it’s just going to repeat itself all over again?

crazy story
Phenomenal! It's certainly much harder than the its predecessor with enemy AI being more intelligent, but it makes it all the more enjoyable, plus, you get to be more strategic with how you move and how you spend your resources. The Story is a notch higher than the previous game. The voice actor for Amicia did sooo damn well, you could literally feel the pain and strain in her voice. Albeit the mechanics are slightly different from the first game, they're good. 9.9/10
