About

Travel back in time. Use and master our Computer, the most powerful time machine ever created! Thanks to this marvelous device, you will be able to travel centuries back in time: from the Jurassic period to the Space Race, or from Ancient Greece to the French Renaissance, you can explore thousands of years in just a few seconds!
Change the past. To complete your assignments, you will have to make decisions at key historical moments. Stop JFK from being assassinated, give the nuclear bomb to Gandhi, send humanity to Mars rather than to the moon… and analyze the consequences to make even better choices afterwards! Just… please avoid causing a premature apocalypse, if you don’t mind.
"Working at A Better World Company means being both a witness to AND an actor in history!”
- Anonymous former employee
Climb the ladder! Each of your completed assignments will be evaluated by our HR Team and given an employee score. When your score is high enough, you will be authorized to access the upper floors of our office building… unless you manage to really screw things up. As we encourage employee empowerment as part of our corporate culture, you will be able to restart assignments if you think you can achieve a better ending and thus, a better employee score. So if you’re just dying to see the building’s 7th floor… you know what to do. #RocketEmoji

The power of technology. ABW Company promotes technology as well as individualism. Rather than exchanging boring gossip and useless tips with soulless colleagues at the coffee machine, you will be assisted by Globos, our cutting-edge virtual assistant! She will be your dedicated guide throughout your assignments, answering any questions you may have. She’s even programmed to tell JOKES! Who needs friends when you have Globos?
A flexible culture. ABW Company will give you objectives for each assignment, but YOU get to choose how to achieve them. If we want you to change someone’s life from ordinary to extraordinary, we won’t mind if you make them a movie star, a cut-throat businessman or, why not, the first ever female president of the USA!
An office dedicated to excellency. Improving the world takes some skill, right? At ABW Company, you’ll find a professional workspace designed by the biggest names in retro-futurism, helping you dedicate yourself to our success! Enjoy an office away from plants, organic fruit, or foosball tables. We took care to remove every possible source of distraction to help you complete your assignments. #NoRoomForMistakes
We’re looking forward to working with you. If you have any questions regarding our corporate culture or our long-term goals, keep them to yourself!
Let’s get to work, together, FOR A BETTER WORLD!

I don't know if they're officially connected but this was a really enjoyable spin on the text-based browser game of the same name. It's much more linear than its predecessor--a necessary compromise to make room for the main story--and the game is easy to play with fairly straightforward mechanics. It's sorely needing an option to undo your last decision to minimize having to replay the same missions over and over from the beginning, but I had enough fun exploring the different timelines that it was a minor annoyance at best. The controls were mostly intuitive but having to constantly go between the terminal and Globos didn't always make sense to me. It's never clear what the "right" decision is when you're faced with choices, but I think that's actually a good thing. It forces you to think things over carefully. But, well, see previous comment about desperately needing an "undo previous choice" button instead of having to reset the whole timeline to get the outcome you want. You'd think a game about time travel would be more flexible with its time travel options. Overall, I felt like I got my money's worth, and the game definitely feels like a proof of concept. Some polish in the controls and visual language of the game is all I really felt was lacking.
On aurait dû faire autrement ! Parfait pour une petite soirée chill !
This game is short but really nice! I beat the base game (I didn't get all of the achievements) in like 80 minutes or so. There is so much room for replaying and perfecting the game and I might try and 100%. Not anything ridiculously good but a nice small game.
Purchased on sale, Played through 90% of the game in ~5hrs I like the concept, but it feels thinly written and underdeveloped, and the mechanics of changing the past needs polish. My major complaints are as follows: The environment does not update at the same time as travel animations occur, and there are numerous formatting issues in later missions. There is no way to easily undo a change, and you have to restart from the start of the mission again there is no way to unskip a message when you accidently dismiss it there are a few bugs in how certain achievements are tracked (you must do all of the endings in one sitting to get credit) UI is clunky, and buttons seem to appear and disappear so that you have to go through the dialog before pressing the button. As other reviewers have mentioned, the original text-based game is much superior, if the creators of this credit the original, why not add a large majority of the options shown there rather than the limited, and easily dated missions made All in all, fine if you get it under 10 dollars on sale, but go play the original, it's better
