About

A Better Tomorrow is a minimalist 2D city-building environmental clicker game that focuses on green energy. Your goal is to supply clean energy to your citizens while preserving the environment for an in-game week. Build green energy generators and plant trees to achieve this. Immerse yourself in this cozy and relaxing experience and learn about green energy.

In A Better Tomorrow, you must manage three resources: energy, the environment's health, and the limited space available. The game's primary resource is energy, which is used to build new generators and satisfy the energy demands of villages and cities. When you construct new generators, the environment suffers. Heal the environment by planting saplings and seeing them grow into beautiful trees!
The game presents a strategic challenge with its five types of energy generators: windmills, solar panels, dams, gas plants, and nuclear plants (on July 6, 2022, the UE Parliament labeled gas and nuclear power as green, equating them with renewables). Each generator has unique attributes, and weather conditions can influence their production. As the game progresses, new villages and cities will appear, increasing the energy demand. Adapt your strategy to optimize production and maintain a balance!

I did not expect much from free to play game, but I did not expect to just panicky be clicking on buildings and not paying attention to anything else in the game. There was barely time to plan anything, and I missed one building and lost a game multiple times in a row on a mistake like that. It would be much MUCH better if buildings collected energy on automode or needed bit more time before it's a lost game. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it, I'm sorry.

A Better Tomorrow is a fun, simple, cozy game. The game is very easy, you manage and spend your energy in order to buy energy generators to provide the houses but you must be careful to not harm the environment too much. I recommend it since the game is 100% free and provides a pretty much enjoyable experience! I will be waiting for more updates!

Cute game, played some runs and liked the aesthetic. Only one detail, i could be a good idea to show that rigth clicking makes time go faster :>
# --- MY THOUGHTS: This may seem like a chill, cozy game, but for me, personally, it most certainly isn't. The constant pressure of making sure that your buildings don't run out of energy because you didn't click on them in time is very stressful. There's also some difficult achievements that I failed to get (Maybe I'm just not that good at the game. Regardless.), so I'm unfortunately gonna have to abandon fully completing this game. The only circumstance in which I will come back and attempt once more is if the game receives a game-changing update that makes it be less stressful, but I doubt that will happen since the last news we heard from this game was more than 3 months ago.
A Better Tomorrow appears to be a slow, simple and idle game but not quite. You have to be actively clicking and planning or you will lose easily. The game is quite difficult for newcomers to begin because you need luck to start an environment with a sunny weather at first. Rainy and cloudy weathers don't help generate energy quick enough with your beginning choices: solar panel and wind wheel. Players can't control the start nor development of houses or tall building, either. As they advance at the AI's will, more energy is required and you have to click them in time to survive playing. If the weather changes to be unfavourable to your own need, you are likely to lose.
