About
Evolve and Design your own planets, ships and units, the way you like it.
Design Giant Armored Battle Stations, like from Star Wars,
or Design Giant Space Ships like from Battlestar Galactica.
-
Battle vast numbers of enemies, each with their own setup and tech focus.
-
You can micromanage (Macro-manage) an entire universe,
or just set it on autopilot, and focus on the battle part of the game.
-
Add to that; Mega-structures like Space Colonies (from Elysium) and Planet size Rings, like from Halo.
-
This is inspired by the old game VGA Planets, and the Space Empire Series.
I loved those games, and have spent too many hours play them, but some things was missing.
I wanted to make Mega-Ships and Mega-structures, so I had to make the game myself.
This goes beyond traditional 4X games.
The 5th 'X' is the era of mega-engineering and harvesting from the universe's black holes.
eXplore: You send scouts to uncover the map, and later the whole universe; Finding hidden places and new planets. Some debris gives new tech, other can be mined for materials, and others are ancient traps.
eXpand: You claim new planets and colonize them to building cities and facilities; Or build powerful land based weapon platforms, to defend against enemy attacks.
eXploit: You gather resources from your facilities to make your empire stronger and richer. The Mega-structures and the Mega-Ships needs more material to be build, but the return is extreme.
eXterminate: You attack your rivals to remove them from the game, or to do gunboat diplomacy.
eXamine: Do research, explore the vast Tech tree and build your own specialized Tech Tree.
eXchange (Diplomacy, Espionage & Trade): Some times battle are won, not with weapons and ships, but with diplomacy or with trickery. Or by making a vast trade empire, nobody wants to fight.
eXcavate (Salvaging & Reverse-Engineering): When enemy ships are damage in battles, you can create special ships to scan and salvage their weapon tech. You might get a new Tech area, or just another level in a tech you know.
