Reviews
I just want to post a review with my impressions so far because this game still has 0 reviews and I am immediately enjoying the game after picking it up during the 30% sale. TL:DR Conclusion copied to the top: Overall I easily recommend this game. If you come across it and you think the game-play or aesthetic look cool but the lack of reviews is stopping you then please don't let that stop you. I think this game is great and I am glad that I decided to pick it up and be the first to leave a review. This is a small indie game and I can just tell that care was taken in the making of this game which makes it quite charming. At the time of writing this review I have played about 45 minutes so far. I came across this game and was drawn to the aesthetic and the unique concept for the game-play. So far I have played the first 3 "levels" each of which has been a fairly long spree of puzzles introducing the mechanics and adding new dials to mess with. It looks to me like there are about 9 levels in total plus a practice mode and an endless mode with endlessly generated puzzles. After the first 3 levels I have only been introduced to about 1/3 of the adjustable dials on the remote which means puzzles are going to get about 3 times more complex and difficult as the game progresses. The trailer footage gives a good idea of what the game-play is like so I am not going to talk about that much. All this is to say I think the amount of content seems really good for what this game is and what the price of the game is. I really like the aesthetic. The rendering style, environments in the background, music, and robot characters make for a very retro Sci-Fi vibe that I am very into. The presentation of the tutorial information as you progress is also very good. The game definitely tries to get cute about it which makes the tutorial presentation a little more fun. I think being fast with the controls is important and will probably become much more relevant as I progress through the levels. The controls are good and you can change them in settings by pressing ESC but it did take a little getting used to for me to feel comfortable rushing through the dial settings for that time bonus. Conclusion: Overall I easily recommend this game. If you come across it and you think the game-play or aesthetic look cool but the lack of reviews is stopping you then please don't let that stop you. I think this game is great and I am glad that I decided to pick it up and be the first to leave a review. Finally, the future i were promised... i need more frutiger aero games with breakcore ost please for the love of god
Very euphoric I find myself in a trance just sitting in the menus sometimes Robot is a cute
I've played through the first 2 levels. I mean, I didn't really need much more to write a review already. You like cybercore and frutiger aero? You like some deep " 2000s internet" vibe kind of music? You like puzzle games? 2Synth is literally your dream game then. As of now, I'm convinced this is the best frutiger aero game I've played. Plus, it's super easy to run, it requires almost no performance from your PC! Currently I'm playing on an old laptop that can't even run Roblox properly and that lags on my web browser, yet 2Synth runs real well, and I was quite surprised. As someone else said here, don't be afraid by the lack of reviews, this game is actually really good and I can't wait to play it some more. You should definitely check it out! Can't wait to see some more games from you, Joel Gervasi, as I really enjoy 2Synth so far :)
Despite the lack of reviews, this game is really fun. I'm personally a huge fan of this cybercore/frutiger aero aesthetic, and how the gameplay kind of matches that by being related to frequencies and such. it's a fun, simple little game that has great replay ability, music is also amazing, i love the robot character too :) i hope this game gets some more purchases soon, it's really worth the 11 dollars
