I could forgive a Danganrompa rip-off if it was good, but there's very, very, very little value to this. Bad writing, bad art, storytelling isn't much good either, and the ending isn't interesting in the slightest.
I spent a little over 9 hours "playing" this game. Is it perfect? Nope. But I respect the amount of work that went into this, and the fact that it's free should encourage people to play it, IF you're willing to accept the fact that: 1) There's a TON of dialogue lines; 2) You need to save regularly as you do NOT need to retrace your steps; makes things easier when you want to resume; 3) the "core" cast is small, and there are very few variations in their expressions throughout the game; 4) the theme of the visual novel is often depressive, but can also shine a light in human interactions; 5) some puzzles require effort to decrypt; using a walkthrough can certainly help; 6) If you're trying to breeze through this to get achievements, you'll be missing out on the BEST part of the game: not just WHAT the story is, but HOW and WHY it evolves. Yes, there are a few typos (and quite a few grunts like "Ngh") in the text, but contrarily to another reviewer's opinion who complains about everything all the time, the story has a good pace and some interesting twists and turns. The graphics are "secondary" to the story, not the other way around. A look at people's motives, looking inside themselves, generally depressing, but with many sunrises to make it worthy.
Overall: 6.5/10 maybe? I'm not the best rater. I think this game is good, especially for a fangame. I cared about the characters and their stories, the twists and the information you find through the game are really interesting. I was kind of dumb when figuring who the mastermind is, but I got it evetually. Some of the puzzles, especially the number to letters one, are nearly impossible. Others- I might just be dumb, but I solved some stuff that made me feel real smart from time to time. Music is nice, fitting, not much to say. Worst this about this game is the art and cutscenes. This is a fangame so I won't be unnecessarily mean since i can't do better than them, but my main issues are the inconsistencies between some sprites, most obvious example being the teachers' and students' sprites being in a COMPLETELY different style, but the cutscenes are the real victims. Some are supposed to be serious but the art is so bad they become comedic. If I talked about Danganronpa with someone I might bring this game up. I mentioned the bad in this game but it doesn't outweigh the good at all. I didn't feel like I was wasting my time playing this game and I had a lot of fun streaming it.

Ok, I know that it’s free and all, but this game does suck, sadly. The puzzles are boring, the story and the characters are weak. I played it completely, and it’s really not worth the time. The art style is ugly, but that’s not the biggest problem.
Absolutely fantasic project! Loved the characters and found my self so involved.
This was actually surprisingly fun to play. Have to diss the maths though. That was not fun. But overall the story was engaging and somehow it almost took me 12 hours to play it start to end and get all achievements so kudos for that. Honestly I would recommend this if you like mystery visual novels, especially since it is free to play.
