About
Escape the temporal limbo in just one thousand seconds in 1000 Seconds, an action roguelike where time is the most valuable artifact. Use your orb to defend yourself against temporal enemies trying to stop you, upgrade it to gain different effects, and don't forget to collect clocks to buy power-ups in shops. But use this resource wisely, as your inventory is limited.
You have a friendly orb that needs upgrading. Use special stones to grant it new powers.
You'll open many chests along the way, but only shop chests can give you power-ups to enhance your orb's performance. Don't forget to collect clocks and keys to open these chests.
Losing is part of the game, and with each defeat, you'll grow stronger and wiser to face the next challenge.

Reviews
I'm playing Steam games in alphabetical order, and you can watch my review here: https://youtu.be/F98dnLySPIg Prefer to read? 1000 Seconds is a The Binding of Isaac-like themed around time. It deviates in terms of movements and a few other mechanics, but the inspiration is undoubtedly there. As far as a premise goes, it's fine. The execution however is lacking. Poor hit-boxes, an unwieldy dash mechanic, a weapon system where you don't know what you're swapping to, and relics that don't allow for interesting player builds or decisions because they are almost always better to take than not. A lot of these problems could be solved by simply providing the player with more information, such as a journal/bestiary to show items obtained and monsters defeated, explanations of status effects and more. The difficulty balance is also slightly off, with the gameplay very quickly swinging from "enemies have to much health" to "I'm unstoppable". There's a competent foundation here, but it doesn't quite come together into a coherent package. I wouldn't recommend this game unless you're a die-hard fan of the genre, but I am interested to see what their next project is as they have some neat ideas.
