007 First Light

(IMPORTANT NOTE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE REVIEW FOR ANYONE BUYING 007's digital edition, you can skip the review if you want but please the last few sentences to save some of your money.) Now that I have gotten the 100% for 007: First Light, I can confidently say that its one of the best games made in this generation and probably one of the best contender for 2026's Game of the Year. The gameplay is strong and immersive. The stealth is well designed and is really fun to figure out whats your next step whether its bluffing your way out with random talk or shoot out a flash mine to take down someone in front of you, or many possible scenarios as well. The shoot-outs and fights despite being a little basic genuinely do get the job done well. And all of the levels are greatly designed and memorable too. The story is also very great, now I'm personally not a bond film watcher myself so I can't say how is the quality here compared to the movies but I can confidently say that I enjoyed this game's story. My only gripes with it is the non-stop dialogue (which kills the mood in some moments) and how the villains are a bit forgettable but overall its quite a fun ride honestly. The graphics are absolutely beautiful but this game is kind of a technical mess, unlike some of the latest releases unfortunately, First light is very demanding like REALLY demanding, so if one of your specs doesn't match the listed minimum specs, you might run into some issues like mine where the game in a number of areas will refuse to load anything and I have to pick a prior checkpoint and then just not die otherwise I have to go back to that same prior checkpoint. And lastly, there is Tac-Sim, similar to MGS' VR missions modes, it basically puts everything again with more twists and challenges so that you can be extremely good at the game and know every small tidbit about it. Now my only complaint about it is locking everything behind it, and when I say everything, I mean the cosmetics and usable weapons EVEN THE DIGITAL DELUXE PACK (which thankfully came for free during pre-orders so I didn't lose much of my money) and they don't tell you this in that page so not only does it feel very scummy, also very stupid.

Bond movie as a great game. IOI is the appropriate developer for any future bond game. 8.5/10

Absolutely nerfed gameplay I hate it. AAA games like this are an absolute liberty to charge £70 do not buy it

Very fun game, but an even more excellent long form movie! I want this dude to become the next James Bond on the big screen!

007味道很正，不动脑子爽玩，场景设计很不错。

IOI的室内设计太性感了，还原了007中很多经典的设定，邦德的角色性格和游戏玩法中的各种结合很生动。 非常优秀、颇具特色的电影级视听体验，制作精良。 战斗中可以用的道具和手段非常丰富，玩法不算打磨得精巧，总体而言还是为故事服务的。 前期节奏有点慢，总体而言是一本道的王道故事。但达米安也太区了，次次不杀邦德也有点难评。
