MUITOOOOO TOPPP
Zombie Graveyard Simulator – Prologue from threeW is a curious and surprisingly cohesive blend of management simulation, light survival mechanics, and wave-based defense, wrapped in a theme that constantly shifts between morbid routine and sudden chaos. Even as a prologue, it establishes a clear gameplay identity built around contrast: the quiet, almost mundane responsibilities of running a graveyard during the day versus the frantic struggle to defend it from the undead at night. That duality is not just a stylistic choice—it is the backbone of the experience, shaping how players approach both progression and moment-to-moment decision-making. During daylight hours, the game settles into a steady and methodical simulation loop. You are tasked with maintaining the graveyard, which involves burying bodies, managing cremations, organizing plots, and keeping the grounds presentable for visitors. These tasks are intentionally repetitive but not mindless, as efficiency and organization directly affect how smoothly your operation runs. There is a subtle satisfaction in optimizing your workflow—figuring out how to minimize wasted movement, arranging graves logically, and ensuring that each task feeds into the next without unnecessary delay. Over time, what initially feels like basic labor evolves into a structured system where small improvements compound into noticeable gains in productivity. Layered onto this is a light economic and crafting system that adds depth without overwhelming the core loop. You can grow crops, harvest resources, and produce items that either support your own survival or generate income. This gives the game a slightly self-sustaining ecosystem, where your graveyard is not just a place of burial but a functioning business with interconnected systems. Upgrades play a significant role here, allowing you to expand your capabilities, improve efficiency, and unlock new tools that streamline previously tedious processes. The sense of progression is tangible, as each upgrade meaningfully alters how you approach your daily routine, making the simulation aspect feel rewarding rather than static. The tone shifts dramatically once night arrives, transforming the experience into a defensive survival scenario. Zombies begin to emerge, and the focus pivots from careful management to immediate action. You must protect both yourself and the infrastructure you have spent the day building, using weapons, barricades, and whatever preparations you have put in place. This sudden escalation in intensity is one of the game’s strongest elements, as it forces you to think ahead during the day. Every shortcut taken or resource neglected can come back to haunt you when the attacks begin. The combat itself is straightforward, but the tension comes from balancing offense with maintenance—repairing defenses, managing ammunition, and preventing your graveyard from falling into disrepair under pressure. This day-and-night cycle creates a compelling rhythm that keeps the experience engaging, at least within the scope of the prologue. The calm of daytime preparation makes nighttime encounters feel more meaningful, and surviving a difficult wave reinforces the value of good planning. However, as you become more efficient and unlock key upgrades, the challenge begins to level out. Once a stable routine is established, both the management and combat systems can start to feel predictable, revealing the limits of the current content. As a preview, it provides a strong foundation, but it also hints at the need for greater variety and escalating complexity in a full release. Visually, the game adopts a practical approach that prioritizes readability over high-end detail. The graveyard environment is clear and functional, and while it may not be particularly striking, it effectively communicates the state of your operations and the threats you face. As you expand and customize the area, there is a growing sense of ownership that helps offset the relatively modest presentation. Sound design plays a supportive role, with ambient noise and combat cues contributing to the shift in tone between day and night, though it does not leave a particularly lasting impression. From a technical standpoint, the prologue shows both promise and roughness. The core systems are solid and generally work as intended, but occasional bugs, awkward interactions, or minor performance issues can interrupt the flow. These moments are not constant, but they are noticeable enough to remind you that this is an early slice of a larger project rather than a fully polished product. Despite this, the underlying design is strong enough to carry the experience, suggesting that with refinement, it could evolve into something much more robust. Ultimately, Zombie Graveyard Simulator – Prologue succeeds as a proof of concept that blends two seemingly incompatible genres into a cohesive loop. Its strength lies in how naturally the management and survival elements feed into each other, creating a cycle that feels purposeful and engaging. While the limited scope and occasional technical issues prevent it from feeling complete, it offers a clear glimpse of a game with genuine potential. For players who enjoy simulation titles with a twist or are intrigued by the idea of mixing calm routine with sudden bursts of action, it provides a solid and memorable introduction. Rating: 7/10
Moim zdaniem to całkiem niezła zabawa! To fajna gra! Mam nadzieję, że dodadzą tryb wieloosobowy i kilka dodatkowych atrakcji, żeby zwiększyć grywalność. Ale całkiem niezły symulator!
