Yore VR

"Yore VR" is an abandoned Early Access VR exclusive medieval sandbox, and like a lot of sandbox games on Steam, it really is mostly sand, and they hardly give you a bucket and spade to play with. "Sandbox" is often used as a flimsy excuse from lazy developers who find creating content and narrative simply too difficult. Indeed, many developers fail to be able to complete games at all, and just leave them in a mostly broken state on Steam after walking away from them. Like "Yore VR", if an example is needed. The developers abandoned this 7 years and 10 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics in this game are really quite good, which at least makes the game look more appealing. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. It's free for now, but the developer intends to charge for this if it ever leaves Early Access... but considering the poor public reception, it's likely this will not be one of the 25% of games that ever gets finished and leaves Early Access. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 13 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

La idea me parece buena, los graficos no estan muy mal pero no puedo recomendarlo mientras los mandos de las oculus los pongan al reves y el sistema de menus sea tan deficiente

HORRIBLE juego, no funciona nada, se traba muchísimo & lo peor es que pague por él y ahora es gratis!!, incluso ahora sigue siendo terrible y fue abandonado por los desarroladores. NO LO COMPREN ------- Awfull game!, nothing works and the worst thing is that i payed for it, and now it´s free!!!, even now, it´s terrible and abandoned by the developers. DON´T BUY
