I must say this game feels very very unique and surprisingly fun even better with friends (if you have any). There were a few instances where the game crashed but its early access after all these things happen but I'd say give it a try its free lol. Definitely would love to see where the development goes it has a lot of potential to be something great. Love the music btw <3 fits perfectly
Pretty fun game. Ranged characters could really use some improvement (aiming is really hard, I hit like a third of my shots). Melee plays really well (and I'd say in fact over powered, should either nerf, or buff ranged to do more dmg). But pretty fun by all means. If you're ok with an unpolished game, go ahead and play.

For a free game, I like how complex it can get for example, you have to keep travelling to find the items you need, your enemies dont spawn on the ground all the time but fly in like a meteor, there is a trader and they can also be attacked. However, graphics, I have seen better on a very short game. Still may need more work on the fighting aspects of it as well but truthfully, I give the game: 6/10. As they always say, give the game a go, you either like it or hate. Watch below my small walkthrough of it: https://youtu.be/3jwEWJFIs8Q
Im giving this a positive rating only with the assumption that this will likely be a great game when it is polished. However, in its current state it is both hard to play and recommend. There is clearly a lack of intuitive UI and even more importantly the combat (purpose of games like these) feels really floaty. There is little to no feedback on hits other than numbers. I would also like to add that I'm sure the game gets better the more time that you invest into it. That being said I think first impressions are really important with F2P games given that there are so many of them. I'm looking forward to this games development.
When i started playing Xecryst, it was confusing to understand, A bulk of the time was understanding how to play, the objective of the game and just trying to decipher what was on the screen. Xecryst is a complete stranger when it comes to abstraction, you will soon realize this when you explore. After while I understood the rules and suddenly i became obsesses with finding and unlocking these crystals. The more crystals that I shatter, the more powerful the enemies would become, but so would my team. Speaking of team and progression, its an rpg so its level base, there is also these stats called affinity that you get to make you guy a little stronger depending on where to allocate it. You can also add mercenaries [bots] to your team, but becareful not to add too many of them because the more you add, the more enemies there would be. I made this mistake when i thought it would be kick ass to add 8 unstoppable marksman bots to my team... (Wrong), when activated one of those orb things, i was met with an army of yellow, gray and silver clay people which gave me nightmares. Anyways to summarize + Progression system + Interesting combat +Challenging - Online doesn't seem to work very well - May be repetitive
