This game is older but really reels you in with a turn base movement. Progressively gets harder.
Right, after reading many reviews, I only 'played' this game (for 5 minutes) to enable me to write a review about it! 😁So, the short review is "it's utter garbage!" The longer review follows if you want some amusement... Firstly, the developer is a non-English language native. I have nothing against this, in fact, I love many foreigners and work with loads of them. But, I expect good English text in games, with good grammar. It fails here! Then, there is no mention that this game is in early access, implying that it is still in development and WILL be finished. So, the game must be finished, right? WRONG! When I started in the game, the first screen shows the Options button, which is non-responsive! Neither is the Help button or even the Share or Facebook buttons! Cool. Then, there is (should be) the option to choose either the Axis side OR the Allied side, but a moving, gesturing hand is pointing to the Axis icon... and the Ally icon is, you guessed it, non-responsive! So, after careful consideration, I decided to play the Axis side 😆! Anyway, there was a dialogue window that asked something like, tbh, I can't remember... errm make it up... "Play the tutorial, Yes or No?" I chose 'No' as I wasn't hanging around! So, we're into the first mission. Graphics look awesome... ish, Germans (me) on the left and the poor Polish on the right (they have no idea what's coming their way). Fog of war is in use so can't see all the map, cool. OK, so, I decided to advance my forward tank battalion. Pretty basic, right? I clicked on it and the possible hex locations were displayed where I could move to. Good so far! So, I clicked on one towards the Poles and the tank unit moved onto it instantly! I mean, yeah, Blitzkrieg... Lightning War, but some movement to the location would be nice instead of just hyperspacing to it in a nanosecond! So, I then clicked away, somewhere else on the map and, guess what? That tank unit moved straight back to its original position! Like... wtf? Tried it again... again it happened! And again! It only stayed on the hex that I'd selected because it came into adjacent contact with a Polish unit, which instantly ambushed my Panzerkampfwagens and gave my tank fellas a bloody nose 😆! So much for tanks going on the offensive and surprising the enemy! Right, cutting out all the other stuff as I'm bored already, I decided to quit the game... but I COULDN'T! That's right, Mr Veloper doesn't want you to leave his game, now that he has you in his lair! There is no Exit button! However, looking around... there is a Pause button in the top-right corner, so I clicked on that. Ah... there it be... the Quit button! So, I clicked on it and... guess what happened? "The game quit?" No, the game didn't quit, you numpty... nothing happened! The button is [hand rapidly raises] "Unresponsive, sir?" Yes, now you're learning... unresponsive! So, there you have it... my fair and rather thorough (lol) review of this amazing game. Any questions? "Yes, why didn't you just click on the X in the top-right corner of the game's window?" Because there IS no X there, duh... a Pause button only! It's in full screen mode and there is no option to close the game down in that way either! "Are all the buttons in the game unresponsive?" No, of course not, silly! I already mentioned that I'd clicked on the 'No' option in order to get straight into the game, so that was a daft question, wasn't it 😆? One button that certainly works, of course, is a 'Back' button which gives you no indication that you are being kidnapped and taken to a page where you can spend your REAL MONEY in order to help you to win each mission. I didn't clicked on anything, obviously, but a gut feeling informed me that ALL of these buttons will likely work! "So, how did you get out of the game?" Good question and well presented! I had to press the Windows button on my keyboard to then enable me to click on the little X in the top-right corner of the minimised game window thingy on the Taskbar. "What if people don't know about that Windows button?" Yeah... exactly. They may be French Connection UK'd! 😂 So, if you want to 'invest' your money in the hope of getting something back, then, you could try this, but I think you'd have more success trying cryptocurrencies instead! If you want to see a completely uncompleted game on Steam, then I recommend this game! If you want a game that frustrates you in one way or another, again, I recommend this. Oh, and if the in-game music does your head in, simply click on the Pause button (the Options button didn't work, remember?) and then you'll see the intuitive Music slider. Simply slide it all the way to the left. You won't hear the music dropping yet, but when you come back out and into the game... voila! "What... the music stopped... like, was turned down to minimum?" I give up with you lot! You haven't learned a thing about this game, have you? Now, go and play it... cuz it's FREE (to start with)! 😆😂🤣
ok
pay to win no skill just spend for the upgrades needed to win
