i never could play this game servers are down since 2020
Before I played World Of Conquerors - Origins, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Server doesn't work at all. Game seems dead.

The game itself is rather nice. What really really sucks: there only seems to be one server for the whole world. That means: it took my highperformance laptop 10 minutes to finally log into the game. Everytime. During gameplay the same: it happened to me - more than just once - that the connection lagged so much, i lost a battle (and with it troops, loyality) without even ever seeing the battlefield itself. Even if i tried to close the attack-screen the battle was lost. It just does not make any fun - for a casual player - to invest time into a game, that has not been properly tested before its release. Reports/mails to the development team are still unanswered.
doesnt connect to servers anymore
Dead game
The game is fun to play. The combat portion of the game needs some work to be up to date.
"World Of Conquerors - Origins" is a weird and badly made asset flip with a really nasty cash shop bolted onto it... the developer deliberately obscures that fact which they're supposed to declare, but they're serial scammers, dumping mobile app-like monetisation products onto Steam like some kind of dumping ground. What do you do in the game? This looks like a strategy/RTS akin to the Total War serious of games but it's more a ripoff of a clicker game, click for buildings and units... this plays like a really bad soldier attack/defense game with P2W mechanics slapped in. The assets all look flipped from basic Unity RTS packs and things. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off. Avoid this cancer at all costs.
