Wordscapes - Word Game

The game changed The game has a butterfly or something in a square. You try to guess the word with the butterfly. Then it flies off to another square. It used to be to another word by the one you just played thereby giving you a hint to the next word. But now that butterfly just goes where it wants so you can’t get the next word with a clue from the last word you just played.

Donna So last night, I was playing this game. I get up this morning and I can’t go to another level. I can’t look at the attorney and hit play because it doesn’t work. Everything else works perfectly except I cannot go to another level whatever you did 10 hours I’m not able to play 🤯

Bad Move I used to enjoy this game and played it daily on my way to work, but now that you have to be connected to Wi-Fi to play the daily puzzle I can’t play it anymore. Not a fan of that change so it will be deleted along with the other apps I don’t use.

Some parts are ok But the Mt. Fortune climb is a rigged scam.

Don’t download 3.12.20 Can’t even play the game. Click level number and nothing happens, won’t even open the next puzzle to solve. Ads that are abusive & scam people and that take WAY too long. Ridiculous clicking through 3 times instead of once to close ad and not even a big enough clickable area to close. It’ll open the ad if you barely miss the X!! Consistently lowering value of earned rewards. Help works sometimes but most of the time is canned answers & absolutely do not listen to understand. Makes it no fun to play after 3-4 yrs. I’m sorry WS, you’ve lost the passion and so that’s definitely a sad trickle down effect to all your players including me. I only stay in it bc I’ve gotten to know the people in my group. Otherwise I would’ve moved on and deleted this a while ago.

Hot Junk, Read Before Getting!! 1. There are SO many ads. An ad every level! Well, that’s how you make games free, so can you at least make it where there’s like 1 ad every 3 levels? At least??? 2. The haptics and buttons that pop up every time I open the app, mainly, which are very annoying. thehdheisibfu’s review explains it all. Just let us PLAY and get to the point. 3. Sometimes clicking a button leads to nothing at all. Even worse, I have to exit the app entirely in order to exit out of the THING cause the flippin back button won’t work. It’s the button on the upper left that has a key…? 4. I can’t use cuss words for my username, team name, anything. Just let us have free speech! This game is ad-infested and bugged up. Developer? CEO? Please listen to me. It’s time to put your game up a flippin notch. This is devastating cause I love crosswords. And so many pay-to-win features! I would’ve rated higher, but this just isn’t it.

Getting greedy Used to really enjoy opening this app to play a few puzzles. Because I didn’t mind the ads, I would wait them out and keep playing. For years I had a maxed out free piggy bank until Wordscapes made me play some weird game That wiped it all out. They obviously want me to pay for hints. I’m done. Deleting the app.

Deleted. Ads during levels. I was over 230 levels in, and the game started showing me ads during levels. I don’t mind ads in between levels but I do not tolerate apps with ads during levels. Goodbye! 👋 Three stars because it’s a fun game otherwise.

Time to say goodbye to this game for good. First of all, I am at level 13,681 and have been playing this game since 2018. As other players have mentioned in their reviews, intrusive ads are a bit much to take and three or four tries to exit out of it after you finish a puzzle. Now, you’ve changed the daily dash prize from coins, bees, and other helps to something insignificant to change your animal or crown, etc. I don’t believe anyone really cares about that. The final straw for me is now you’ve changed the prize level in the rock climb. You can’t even get any prizes to help you through a puzzle. Now you got five cents or $.10 and insignificant prizes when you make it through the 5, 10 or 15 levels. I’ve made it to the top of the mountain and a couple times and got nothing in return for a prize except a picture or something of that nature, which is not fun for me anymore. I pretty much stopped playing the rock climb and I tried it again today and the same thing I exited after I spent 25 coins for nothing. I have found two new games that I’ll be moving on becau this is really ridiculous and now all of a sudden almost every puzzle that I get is is super hard, hard or extremely hard, and it just changed so much since I first started. The game is no longer challenging or fun. It’s one thing to be able to solve a puzzle but watching ads or to keep purchasing coins. The other negative thing that has changed over the years is if you hit your back arrow to go back to the game on the main page or move your phone, and then an ad starts, and then it tries to load the App Store or another nefarious site. My Norton blocks it because it says it’s trying to steal my credentials or load malware. So to new players looking for a good game, I would steer a clear of this one because I’m moving on at this point. I’ve been meaning to write this for some time, but I kept giving it another chance. But, nothing’s really changing for the better for the user to make it exciting and fun like it used to be. Thank you.

Tricky Fun game. However recent update has caused the game to take over 10 minutes to load. It is stuck on “ad loader”. Extremely frustrating.
