Words With Friends Word Game

Ads ads ads It would be a great game if it wasn’t for all the bad and the slow pop ups they have sprinkled throughout. I used to play this game and I gave up. Now I know why.

Keeps me connected I love playing this everyday. I play with friends and family. We chat on the game and have lots of fun.

Great game Great game for down time

Not accurately totaled I love this game and play it daily. My issue with it is MANY TIMES I have had the game end when I have a lot of letters left and words that would have won the game and my opponent only has one letter for few points. Have showed it to friends and they were shocked and didn’t have but one or two letters left that would not have had enough points to win the game. Please work this out because it happens a frequently now , not just on occasion. I have been playing this game for years but May have to move on to another one if this isn’t corrected. It’s been happening for about 6 months now. This game is 5 star when this isn’t happening. Too many long adds. People I send the game to give up playing because the adds are too many and too long. I may have to find another too.

Tapping I feel like a woodpecker when I play this game you have to tap and tap and tap to keep advancing the screens because there’s so many commercials so many pop-ups it’s absolutely ridiculous. I can understand a few, but this is maddening trying to play this game.

Fun game with bothersome distractions Words with friends game itself is great. It is simple and I like that I am regularly paired with strangers for exposure to a wide range of skill levels and playing styles. However, developers keep throwing in distracting additions I am not interested in. Worst lately is some sort of “Dice Challenge” . Somehow people challenge me in this game I never played, I never see the challenge, they win by default and I get notified I lost a game I never knew about. Sad.

If Only… There weren’t sooooo many ads. Frustrating when you are trying to make your next move. Fun game. Hate that words with no definition AND foreign words are allowed. NOT FAIR !

Standard gameplay is nice; extra notifications and add-ons are excessive When you finally get into a game with a friend it is a nice program and fun game. It’s hard to get there because there are dozens of notifications asking you to buy into an elevated rewards program at $10-$12/week. Who has that kind of cash?! And it’s seriously annoying to have to weed through that or “claim your free rewards” before you can play your game. Also this platform is REALLY trying to get a piece of the NY Times puzzles’ pie… but it’s just not as good as the really Wordle. Stay in your lane and let people just play the game they’re here for, without all the junk in the way.

I don’t understand. Why is it that when an opponent plays their turn goes to the top of the player queue instead of just going back to the bottom? It becomes frustrating when you have to go back to the home page to go to the next game. Extremely frustrating!!

Frustrated Love the game. But I have one game that keeps popping up. I’ve passed,resigned and it still comes back. Help!!!
