The atmosphere, the music, the gameplay, the gunplay, the vibes.

Great game, definitely worth it on sale. The good: I played on difficulty 4/5 and found the balance to be pretty tactical but with some room for aggression and experimenting. As in the best strategy was standing off away from corners and slicing angles slowly to pick enemies down one by one rather than duel weapons. On my second time through I'll play an easier difficulty for more variety. The weapon variety is ok, pretty standard stuff and some nice oomf to some weapons. There aren't quite branching paths or open worlds in this game, but combat scenarios provide a variety of positions to plan and stage an attack from. The narrative story telling and introduction missions are 10/10. Absolutely insane way to start a game. The villains are sickeningly evil. It makes you HATE them. The game looks nice too considering the age but... The bad: This game plays like dog water on AMD graphics cards even on modern specs? I have 20GB of vram on a 7900XT. Yet this game will only do Vsync and not have tearing at 45fps? Even then I still have pop ins happening. I'd turn on Vsync and lock to 45fps no matter the settings. COME ON?
