[A like just for an indie game from the trash category.] Cute, naive and short game (i was afk for 16h).
Cute little RPG game. The game is fun to play, the story is great and the gameplay soundtrack is nice and peaceful.
A short, charming RPG maker game with a nice twist of playing as the monster. Plus it's free, so why not give it a shot?

It was enjoyable
A short but free game—I always enjoy games that explore the "villain's" perspective.

Wow this game is short but it achieves its purpose to showcase the capability of RPG Maker MZ! I like the made-up mechanic of recruiting people and building base like that, and the game can actually be finished in less than an hour if you want to. If you want to get every best equipment, the game will be too easy here. This also inspires me about how to make a project.
The game has a great concept and the groundwork is pretty solid but the game really seems more of a proof of concept rather then a finished product as there seems to be a lack of quality of life improvements and visual flare to the game to set it apart from other similar games. There also seems to be a lack of story which is a shame as the bits we do get seem like they could be quite engaging but nothing comes of it more then the structural basics. Exploring the game is quick but there is not much to see and no reason to explore an area as there are a lot of one time only pick ups and you'll only come back to grind out items in a boring battle system just to tediously upgrade your army or ally's stats. Areas for improvement: *Cooking: -takes too long to select ingredients -can select none food ingredients *Blacksmith: -doesn't allow for multiple items to be selected at once -all items give +1 in their respected stat boosts regardless of how good the item is *Base Layout: -the base is designed in a way that makes everything take longer to get to or even find -doesn't feel grandiose as what the story would make it out to be and feels unsatisfying to upgrade *Battles: -the battles only use the enemy's over-world sprite rather then an actual sprite battle sprite -has basically no movement and just attack visuals -player, allies and enemies have a attack wind-up that doesn't pause when selecting attacks or special abilities which discourages players to take a more strategic approach as you'll just take damage for taking to long to find or to select a move *Army, Allies & MC: -you find and save recruit-able members into your army and special characters into potential party members but this process doesn't feel like you are doing much as there is hardly anything that changes other then a few monsters sit at the dinning room table (could be improved by having monsters walking around or even training or using the hot spring) -allies and MC don't have a dedicated model to them so other then stats, there seems to be little reason to get new pieces of armour or weapons as levelling is easy and gives descent stat improvements -allies don't have much interactivity outside of recruiting and changing team layout so they tend to lack a defined personality -Enemies are very uninspired, repetitive and mostly lack personality and agency of their own and only have colour pallet swaps *Map Locations: -all the maps are very small and have little to explore or find and don't give any reason to come back to -some maps aren't very appealing to looking at as there seems to be some repetition in sprite use
A charming tale about murder and revenge. Really, it is that - it's charming, shows off some nifty early features of the engine and is short enough not to overstay it's welcome. You can beat it in an hour.
Short, cute rpg with a monster party fighting humans. Fast paced, liittle grinding unless you want money. I recommend playing this!
