Without Within

Overall rating: 8/10 Short and simple story that actually gets pretty deep Art: I LOVE the art in this game. So much so that I actually decided to buy the art book of this game. (Spoilers) I especially love the art of Vinty at the start where fans are chanting her name etc etc. I also adore the chibi artsyle we see throughout the game as well. Gameplay: For how short the story is, you do get a decent amount of choices. Plus, the choices you make actually change the story and the ending you get. Story: (Spoilers) I find the story really interesting, especially the fact that Vinty wants to be a star through calligraphy. It's a compelling story that doesn't take itself too seriously while also having underlying meanings that really get you thinking. Characters: (Spoilers) Vinty, our main character, aspires to become a famous calligraphist. She's not doing too well finacially, but is sure of herself that her work will get recognized and she will become a star. She's funny and kind, but also a bit delusional. This adds some comedy to the story.
