"WhiteTrick" is a (probably) abandoned Early Access boardgame with an intriguing premise and a rather surprisingly not terrible visual implementation (But still very low poly and a little bit asset flip looking). This was a unique "cops and robbers" cardgame/boardgame where one player tries to sell stolen goods by running to a Fence (person who sells stolen goods, not to be confused with a barrier), and three players take on the role of cops and try to hunt him down... not so easy, because he's invisible to them and they must investigate to try find and follow his tracks. The game itself is an incomplete, unpolished and clunky mess, and cannot be played as intended because there are no players. The developers abandoned this 9 months ago. It will almost certainly never be completed... there are no players, nobody really wanted this, so the developers have no incentive to keep working on it. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as you're expected to pay up $5 USD for the "Western" pack. So... the developers didn't have enough time to finish their game, but they had all the time in the world to create day #1 paid DLC? This is not okay. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 10 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This isn't really a "free" game, it's got mobile app tier predatory pricing, which is the kind of thing PC gamers hate. That's just another reason not to bother downloading this "free" game.
