기대 안했는데 생각보다 재밌네요 앞으로가 더 기대됩니다!
TLDR: very fun game, in depth progression system, cosy visuals and music, lots of content! I bought it for 15eu and I definitely think it's worth buying at that price. I do have some feedback the devs might appreciate. I've really been enjoying this game! The visuals and music give it a very cosy vibe, yet managing the colony isn't cosy at all, it can be quite challenging making sure the tax collector and your mice are both satisfied. The upgrade system is very in depth and there's endless possibilities to shape your colony. It reminds of Frostpunk, which I enjoyed a lot, although I'd say Whiskerwood is more forgiving than Frostpunk - on the difficulty I play on, at least. It's a lot more sandboxy, which really scratches an itch for me. I do have some feedback, however: - I've noticed recipes on buildings reset after they've been destroyed by pirates. Suddenly I'm making woven cloaks again instead of fabrics. Same with cafes, after repairing I keep having to uncheck the types of food I don't want in there. Any possibility on making it so it remembers the way it used to be before? - I'd love to be able to move other buildings aside from the resource gathering ones, even if it means I have to invest like half of the resources or some approval to move it. Just saves the hassle of having to build it again, which is a nice QOL. - I feel like this might be something you have planned for the future already, but being able to effectively make your island smaller to be able to reach fish rich spots easier would be nice. Currently if you mine a tile adjecent to ocean it puts up a wooden barrier, which makes sense. I'd like to be able to take those down. - Pollution (from heating) is quite hard to manage during winter :/ In the early/mid game at least. Might need some balancing? - I'd love to be able to sort my whiskers on which traits they have! So I can easily find my mice that can't smell and put them in the middle of the hole in the ozone >:) - Being able to increase panning speed would be nice for when moving from island to island. When holding shift while panning, for instance. - Being able to delete the mining ladders would be nice too. If I remember, I might update this review as the game gets updated/I make more progress.
