Qualidade grafica muito boa e muito divertido.
Even as early access, and with big updates comming, this game is really good. You are a royal outpost, sent to produce raw materials for the royal factories. You are completely exploited by your lords, and pirates regularly visit you to extort you of your production. Even despite that, you can still expand your colony pretty nicely and watch your city grow, with already a nice variety of activities, products, technologies, and some new gameplay to come. There is a colonists management part, as your settlers all have their specificities, both in character, skill, efficiency and allegiance. And even though it's currently lacking, there are some plans to add a defense mechanic to protect your settlement. Even as an early access, the game is really stable, and already offers a huge city building and management gameplay.
Whiskerwood has a huge problem: it hurts too good. After starting my first island's city on normal mode, I quickly was humbled back to get familiar with the mechanics on Easy mode, and I have been obsessed. I blink, and a year in-game has passed, it's winter again, and I have been sedentary for hours. Building a new workshop, welcoming more mice, expanding my farms, and upgrading infrastructure keeps me locked in and excited for each new shipment and tax day. The winters are treacherous, but Spring brings with it a sweetness and satisfying return to flourishing that quickly overpowers the suffering of cold days past. Don't forget to stock up for winter, or your mice will surely starve and die! Otherwise, remember to look around and check the clock if you can--you will get lost in Whiskerwood, as I happily have since pressing New Game. (Due to the Early Access aspect of Whiskerwood: I would love to be able to mine clay and have potter mice. Different species of mice being included would be fantastic as well--I like my little guys, but I would love if there was some variation based on real mice in different continents. And a florist mouse that uses flowers from a farm dedicated to such would be sick. Their presence could increase overall morale of mice by delivering their product to their homes. Artist mice in general might be at a point in-game that I haven't reached yet, but being able to build easels and have painter mice create paintings while stationed at them, that then can be sold to the Claws, would be amazing as well. And it might be too much, but if you could set the tone of the easel to things that would influence the Claws via plot and exposure to the reality of our Whisker lives would be sick! Each painting being completed could raise morale or influence overall Whisker society on-island too via empowering mice. And this might also be in the future, but I would love having mice assigned as EMTs that run get injured/sick mice on stretchers and run them to the medical triage as a duo.)
Really great city sim, takes the Timberborn inspiration and adds some great features to it. Would definitely recommend.
Very good city builder. I enjoy the limited space forcing you to build vertically and inside mountains. The game gives you tools to do it too; you can unlock conveyor, elevator, and train tracks. The overall aesthetic is charming and fitting.
i like it
Look, I know how some feel about early access games but this has so much going on already that it feels like a full experience. Sim empire/builder/colony mgmt types have always been my love and forte and this game truly scratches an itch I didn't know I had. It's freakin adorable, has cutesy music, and has a lovely system for building and exploring. I've restarted my run probably 10 times in 12 hours because I'm constantly learning new tricks and ways of doing things. I'm going to be hyper focused on this one for a long while.
finished against the storm and found a beautiful replacement. down with the felines!
