A quick and action paced retro styled arcade shooter, or shoot 'em up (shmup) if you like. Perfect to play in short chunks, like when you are waiting for big games to download.

This game seems like it's off to a good start. I wish there was a middle option other than just recommend or not recommend because this is somewhere in the middle in it's current state. For the price and for what's here, I can't recommend it right now but I also don't not recommend it either because it is a bit fun but the fun is short lived. Unfortunately I have to mark this in the not recommended section, however, it's the lightest not recommend I've ever given. I really wish there was a middle option Currently there isn't all that much content in the game, it's a casuals casual game that you would pick up and play a round or two and then turn off. There isn't too much reason to stay in the game after you played a turn or two. You can unlock weapons which is nice but I think that needs a bit more work to make it feel more rewarding to the player which would be more of an incentive to keep playing. Something missing that would definitely be a positive feature would be leaderboards. Not just a world leaderboard but if possible a friends only leaderboard because with games like these you often won't ever be able to compete with the top players but you can always compete between your steam friends so it adds to the replay value and makes you want to come back and beat their scores. As for the game graphics / art style, I love the neon. The ships are fairly generic but okay. The explosions are alright and the sound effects are nice and fit well. The music in game is alright but the game needs menu music badly. I personally can't stand silence in video games and that's what you get at the menu screen. One thing that I really like about this is the slow pace. Most of the time shmups are more fast paced or even insanely fast paced bullet-hellrides. This is kinda neat how things move slow enough that you can dodge more easily. The ship control feels a bit loose but not by much, I think the fact that you don't actually shoot makes the ship feel more loose in the handling area. I would have to say this is off to a decent start. I hope the developer continues developing this into something more than it currently is because I think it could be decent. Perhaps another game mode or two in conjuction with online leaderboards would set this up nicely. Keep up the good work developer and let me know when the game is finished so I can come back and update this review.
Simple, fast and fun. You will find yourself playing long after the download has finished. Here's my let's play video. Try to beat my high score! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyMIXeVWxDY
It was the perfect game to play while Killing Floor 2 was downloading. So mission accomplished in the game's title! Cute, simple, fairly addictive, and only a buck. The epitome of an F it why not? It's a buck. Go for it.
The game is definitely good at what it aims to do. It is marketed as a game to be played in short intervals while you wait for other games to download. I think it succeeds at this fairly well. The controls are very simple, using just left and right to move your ship. It shoots on it's own and constantly moves forward. As time goes on, you gain access to new weapons. As you score more points over the lifetime of the game, new power ups become available giving you a reason to keep playing to that next checkpoint. A simple game for a simple purpose, but fun enough I'll keep coming back. Nice work devs!
Very Fun, but 3 points off for lack of content, custum skins and options menu. 7/10
i love it play it even when im not downloading stuff kinda hate the big blast upgrade but everything els is great
I have only played this for a few minutes and I can tell this is a really good first game. Very addicitive and fun. I like how honest the developer is (The fact that when you close the game you see a picture of the dev thanking you for playing, which is really sweet) Also this game costs the same as a chocolate bar. You can't really go wrong with that.
arcade retro good game
A basic and fun space shooter, you control a spaceship and shoot enemy spaceships, you also collect power-ups to shoot more stuff! Play while you are downloading something else for maximum effect :) https://youtu.be/iFVb0pQ82HM
