A PSX-style survival horror game where you run, hide, and fight through a deep-sea prison overrun by cloning monsters that regenerate from severed limbs, forcing you to carefully choose when violence is worth the risk.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
This Game is a DEMO at this time.
Far below the surface lies a corporate-run industrial prison, hidden in the darkness of the deep sea. Built to conduct experiments far from public scrutiny, the facility has become something far worse than just a prison.
Now the halls are overrun with grotesque cloning organisms that multiply from severed limbs. Every violent encounter risks creating more of them.
To escape with any chance of survival, you must run, hide, and fight your way through the collapsing substation, navigating locked cell blocks, flooded corridors, research labs, and industrial maintenance tunnels. But brute force won’t save you here. The creatures grow stronger with every mistake, and Tyde Civic Corporation is determined to ensure its secrets never reach the surface.
As the facility falls deeper into chaos, you’ll need to solve environmental puzzles, evade relentless enemies, and uncover the truth behind the prison’s experiments. Every path upward brings you closer to freedom, and closer to the secrets Tyde Civic buried beneath the sea.
Ultimately, to escape the prison and survive Tyde Civic’s grotesque creations,
there's nowhere to go except up.
PSX-Style Survival Horror
Experience a retro-inspired horror game with low-poly visuals, gritty textures, and an oppressive atmosphere inspired by late-90s horror classics.
Enemies That Multiply
The creatures inside the facility reproduce from severed limbs. Cut off an arm and it does not die. It will grow into another body, leaving the original creature alive. Every fight risks turning one enemy into many.
Run, Hide, or Fight
Not every encounter should be fought. Choose carefully when to confront enemies and when to evade them as the prison becomes increasingly overrun.
Metroidvania Style Exploration
Unlock tools and skills to revisit previously inaccessible areas, uncovering secrets as you explore the labyrinthine facility.
Explore the Deep-Sea Facility
Navigate a sprawling underwater prison complex, from flooded corridors and cell blocks to laboratories and industrial tunnels barely holding back the ocean.
Corporate Secrets
Uncover the disturbing truth behind Tyde Civic Corporation and the experiments buried beneath the sea.

whalefall is awesome! i definitely recommend playing with headphones. the enemy limb severing/enemy duplicating mechanic is so fire, and it adds a really interesting twist to the combat. great psx style and creepy vibe!!
Really impressive for a free game- the OG PlayStation aesthetic really makes an already uneasy environment feel even grittier. I think its brilliant that defending yourself comes at the cost of increased difficulty, so you have to pick and choose your battles. Sound design is pretty nuts too. If you enjoy games like Alien Isolation, and other horror/survival games that require you to strategize to outsmart enemies, this game is definitely for you.

Absolutely incredible atmosphere. 10/10 hand chopping simulator. Please fix the viewport scaling for ultrawide screens! 3440x1440
Yay love whalefall! More like whalerise ammiright.
screamed at the top of my lung at 2pm on a wednesday... love to see the psx vibe getting even more love
Honestly, i need to start handing out trophies to indie devs that think their game mechanics is the next Picasso or something cuz wtf are these inventory mechanics? I can't press 1,2,3 etc to switch items nor can I press f to pull out the flashlight I have to press tab and click on the item. Also the beginning part of the game where as soon as you press start and wake up in the jail cell is the most confusing thing ever since there is nothing to tell nor is it obvious that you need to throw a brick at the wall where she has been marking the wall as the days go by. It makes no sense when it should of been in my opinion the cutscene after the jail cell part. I also encountered a dialogue glitch after the first cutscene where the camera glitched and I had to restart the game. The monsters also have a glitched patrol pattern / don't move at all in certain spots as well. Design wise I liked it and the replicating monsters were cool. Story was interesting but the game suddenly ends when it tells you "thanks for playing the demo" even though there is nothing on the storepage saying that it is a demo. Game felt unfinished overall with cut content not seen in this game or not yet implemented based off the devs insta and I don't understand why there were a bunch of valves scattered around that you could pick up but never use. Whether or not the game fully comes out remains to be seen though I would like it to. It is playable though it needs a bit of work to good https://youtu.be/pm_o3DQlfAU
crazy cool atmosphere and style. love the shaderwork and creature design. great stuff
very cool and a free game
cute little indie game! I'll keep playing as it goes, reminds me lots of Resident Evil, cut scenes also make me think x-files flukeman episode
The game is buggy and doesn't explain what to do. Enemies can multiply when you fight them, but it's never tense or scary. Feels unfinished overall. (no options menu at all, repetitive NPC models / environments, missing audio, etc.)
