Jogo feito com carinho e bem divertido de jogar Game made with love and quite fun to play
This is a fun game that doesn't need much explanation to begin playing at a basic level. Each player starts the game with three "hero" pieces that they can control manually. Throughout the game, players summon many weaker "minion" pieces that act autonomously. I like the idea of autonomous pieces -- it reduces the player workload and introduces novel concepts like path-blocking. My main complaints are with the UI, especially when it comes to tracking player resources. Each player has three special resources: Gems, Spells, and Shells. Spells and Shells are especially important because they determine what actions the player is capable of performing on their turn. Of the three kinds of resources, only Gems are visible 100% of the time. To see the opponent's Shells and Spells, you have to mouse-over two specific units (1 for each). In my opinion, the opponent's Spells and Shells should always be visible on the border of the screen. They wouldn't take up very much space, so I'm frankly surprised that this is not already the case. I also have more minor complaints with how minion stats are displayed, but these complaints are alleviated by unit homogeny (a starfish is a starfish, etc). In short, this is a game that does an excellent job of front-loading as little game information as possible, and letting you get right into the meat. However, it is held back by a cumbersome UI that never feels like it shows me as much information as I want at a time. There are enough good ideas in there for me to recommend it nonetheless. And it's free! So if you're interested in strategy games or tactics games, I would give this one a try.
