Welcome To The Dreamscape

This looks like another very cool game from this dev, but anything past 40 mins of gameplay is impossible because of game breaking bugs. I’m completely unable to shoot the gun once I have it, so I paused the game but it was frozen on the pause screen. After having to restart that whole chapter over again, I got the rocks to disable the lasers, but wasn’t allowed to open the final door at all. Probably because I needed to shoot the guys, but the gun wasn’t working on this run either. It’s a shame because the game was very good up until this point. Maybe a remastered version can be released sometime.

Its pretty nice. A bit annoying that the monologues arent skipable. Its also sadly a bit buggy. But all in one pretty nice. Very well made and pretty nice to play. And its FREE so, noice. I can really recommend it

V průběhu hry tak odkrýváte váš příběh. Oproti Summerlandu zde chybí nápověda a více checkpointů. Během hry můžete potkat nějakej ten bug [b](hra nemá jen dvě kapitoly, jen je třeba zkusit ověření souborů nebo reinstalovat)[/b], ovšem když to překonáte, konec stojí za to, nebo mám napsat [spoiler] spíš konce? [/spoiler] 😉 Přes veškeré nedokonalosti, které hra má, přesto doporučuju zařadit do vaší knihovny únikovek/adventur. Welcome To The Dreamscape Positives: + Very good idea and concept + Varied places to explore + Very interesting and fun to play (when it works) + The mystery + The story + The message/meaning + The puzzles + Two endings to choose from + Nice music and atmosphere + Good voiceacting + The humour + Worth to play for a second time to get a new perspective + Its free Negatives: - A bit dated graphics - Invisible walls - When the use button dosent work - Static noise in some of the voiceacting - Horrible bugs and glitches (some are gamebreaking) - The game freezes if you pause it (so dont do that), and you must force close it and start all over - In chapter 3 there is a glitch were the AI is completely broken and you are not able to fire the gun (luckily you dont have to kill the AI to get to the next chapter) - The game suddenly bugs itself out and you get 1-3 fps and then the game exits - Auto save issues (and the saves are not frequent enough) - Framerate and instability issues - I have started the game over so many times because of the bugs I have lost count - All the problems with the game will test your nerves and patience to the max - Quite short length (my 6 hours is not real gameplay because I spent most of the time dealing with the game breaking bugs) Wow, this game is a lot. Firstly its got a very good concept and its very fun to play and finding out what is really going on. Connor has got some great ideas and has done a lot of cool things to this game. BUT, and there is a BIG BUT. The game has so many issues, glitches and game breaking bugs. Its a real shame, because the game is so good in almost everything else. Some will get so frustrated and angry because of this and just give up on the way (which I really understand). I gave up myself some months ago after trying to get past some horrible glitches for the 5-7th time. But now I wanted to try the game one last time, because I was so curious on how it would end. And Im glad I did, because Ive enjoyed large parts of it. I finally found a way to get past the bugs. So if it wasnt for the horrible bugs, I would have strongly reccommended the game and given it 8-8.5/10. Unfortunately its still got the same bugs, so I ended up giving it 7/10 (even though it doesnt deserve it because of all the problems). I like the concept so much, and its one young mans hard work that got us this cool game, so I must give him some credit for it. So well done in many ways Connor, but please fix the bugs, and please dont ever release a game in this state again. To sum it up, if a lot of bugs and glitches dont scare you and you are very patient, well you are in for a treat. For everyone else, play Connors other game "Summerland" instead. Total Score: 7/10

Would be a really cool game if it was not for the fact that it has really bad glitches.

The first 2 chapters were kinda promising but the 3rd one is bugged as hell, you can't pause, you can't shoot or get caught by the red TV-head guys, you can't open the door to proceed through the level and I don't know if there is something that triggers the bug or if the level is simply broken. And there is no hope in getting it fixed. Really sad, thank God is free to play (not at the beginning, tho).
