It's alright, but it has flawed controls and other issues. You cannot snap-turn, so doing this in a sitting position is annoying. The scale of the JWT also feels off (this includes even stuff like the car model which is used for scale), but that might just be an issue on my end. There's plenty of educational content here, but the voiceover is extremely quiet for some reason. There's also a strange lack of detail in the explanations of what the different parts of the JWT are, like what the 4 science tools on the cold side actually are, what they do, etc. Maybe I am just blind, but idk. When exploring planets, the voice over gets cutoff annoyingly, or doesn't trigger when teleporting to the moons from the menu. The haptic feedback/rumble tends to get stuck on when flying around. The rendering is also not very impressive, but I can understand that this is a free experience, probably made by a small team and probably had to support stuff like mobile devices as well.
The first time I opened this game and saw the JWST in front of me, I felt giddy like a little kid. I was using an Oculus Quest 2 via wireless SteamLink and it worked great. Overall, I really like the format of the game and the exploration aspects, but I find the controls clunky and unintuitive. That being said, for those who have motion sickness like me, this game is tough to get through. In the opening scene there's this parallax between the Earth moving, the viewer's camera moving, all against the backdrop of stars that's also moving. I almost shut them game off right then. My recommendation would be to keep the viewer and the stars stationary, while the Earth flies by. In addition to the opening scene, most of the travel in this game is using the joystick and "flying" around. This is also bad for motion sickness and I would like to recommend the developers add some form of teleportation mechanic, even if it's an optional toggle in the settings.

beautiful !
Bardzo dobra wirtualna lekcja astronomii i zwiedzanie wszechświata. Trzeba jednak robić to krótkimi sesjami. Mnie po 12 minutach zaczęło mdlić. Ale generalnie bardzo dobra prezentacja kosmosu na VR
富具教育性,適量互動,容易操作。資料量不算多,適合作為提升興趣的入門資源。
It loads and I get audio but not video scenes just home screen .
Really nice, Thank you very much Excellente Interface!!!
Might be the best VR edutainment experience I have tried and I really didn't expect to come out of this so positively. Well worth trying as its free and takes about 60 minutes to experience everything and it covers a lot more than just the telescope with models, minigames and voiced lines. My favourite part was probably the planet discovery method minigames as they do a good job visualising the process at a high level. Experienced v3.0 with an HP Reverb G2 and Index knuckles controllers on a 3080 at 100% SS and "full" setting - only had low framerates in one of the minigames (planet creator) due to the amount of physics object in the scene I guess. Now if only the telescope would launch already.
Quality right up there with Buzz Aldrin's Mars cycler!
