Loved the game when it was an OG game just on a browser. Soon as it came to Steam it was never the same. Besides the already paywall, they added more and the graphics are to the point that I can't even load the loading screen anymore. Waste of my time.

Let me preface this by saying that despite the 1.5 hours of Wartune that I have on Steam that I have in actuality, at least 100 hours on this and have been playing this since around 2013/2014. This game is quite near and dear to me and is not only one of my favorite games of all time but one of my favorite rpgs of all time, so I feel as though my opinion will have some merit to it, at least compared to the many negative review of this game with less than half an hour of game-play. yes, this game has many expensive items, no, it is not however, a pay to win game. it is a simple game indeed, however that is not a bad thing, the only real issue this version shares with its counterparts is the load times and game speed can be a bit slow. this version however, and these are admittedly small things, has two main issues so far, maybe 3. it seems to me as though the opening 2 hours have been made a bit less coherent than what they once were, however, i could be miss-remembering things. the real 2 issues are its not as full-screen as the browser version and how the audio cuts short and loops, and sounds lower quality than before, seemingly using the wrong tune during a segment. however, if you can look past these problems i feel you will definitely enjoy this game and overall I would rate it as a 7/10.
