The amount of hours I’ve put into this game speaks for itself. You’ve got to get it!

Why do I need to post a description in order to click "Yes, I would recommend this game to other players"? I like the game. That's it.

Macht sehr viel spass!!!
A tentative recommend. This is wargame pretending to be a 4x. THat said it does a decent job. It is kind of fun to explore the world and fight the battles, but... Enemy units are often sooo tanky. It takes a crazy amount of shooting to put them down. That gets tedious. Conversely, somehow, most of my units seem to be made of wet tissue paper! I still won, but yeesh. AI seems to have b*tsh*t resources and can pop out mega army after mega army... as long as they are out in the fog of war. Combine this with the crazy HP AI units have and it gets kinda tedious slaughtering the endless enemy waves. The fog of war is terrible - like the worst I have ever seen - it is way too easy to blunder into enemy units and get munched. There is almost no scouting capability I saw. You either live with blundering into enemy troops or send out a unit and reload if they stumble into an entire army. I mean, maybe I missed a mechanic to make this better? AI also seems to know where your weak units are and pop out of the fog of war to kill them. Irritating. Line of sight is not clear to me. A lot of the time I'd move a unit to somewhere and find it couldn't shoot. Environmental hazards that can damage your troops are all over the place and not obvious. They tend to occur in patches and can disrupt your entire army formation as well. Terrain can have height differences making it impassable but that fact is less than obvious till you are deep in it and find you cannot proceed (at least till till I got better at reading the map). So I completed two campaigns but decided it is a bit of a slog to play and am done for now. Ok game, but not great for me. But hey, I got it free so coolio.
