Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Anniversary Edition (Classic)

If Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II were a warrior, it be a seasoned Space Marine veteran who dropped the architecture plans and decided that storming forward with a bolter and power fist is way more fun. It trades some of the grand RTS trappings for brutal tactical combat, loot, and momentum. That means less micromanaging your economy, more gritting your teeth in firefights. Love it if you prefer close‑quarters tactical action, hero‑driven squads, and fast‑paced brutal combat. Might be disappointed if you crave massive armies, base building, or pure RTS macro‑strategy. For many, it hits a sweet spot: visceral, intense battles, satisfying RPG elements, and the grimdark aesthetic of 40K done right. Not perfect but yea damn good. 8/10 — because when it’s good, it’s very good; but sometimes you wish your squads had better morale (and fewer enemies who are basically tanks).
